How can i make auto-updater ?

Hello guys,

I want to know how can i make a auto-updater for a pwserver..

I don't know the right way to do one. I don't know how the client updater can connect to an update server for receive updates...:/:

If somebody can help for this =P
Because it's very bored to upload everytime a shity "update.exe" or something like this on a ftp server...

I'm waiting an answer so quickly.. because it necessary for every people who want to do an update server for PW.. But i don't know the good way to do one.
It use C++ ? What code i must write to do this ? How the client can connect to the update server ?...

I already know pwpack.exe and a bit of c + + :):

But my real problem is this:

I do not know how the client lists the folders on the server http .. and I do not know how the client to determine which files should be updated or not ..

How should be the hierarchy of folders on the server?

Should I put a text file or other which indicates the version of the current files to the client?

Can you help me? I know lots of things to make a pwserver.

But I have no more ideas how the server sends updates to the client ...:/:

Hmm yes... if you can do a miniguide o,o ...... plz :):

i will study the problem and post an guide soon, posible using other program but i will do it soon

Just go search for NeonCube its a nice program for auto-updater.

Can you make a small guide? Because i have done a customized launcher but... when it download the updates, it doesn't patch any files...

Can you do a step by step plz nenadgt ? ^-^
