can't connect to server

ok so i got a new router that would allow me to host games, which i have tested with a Gunz Server, i was successful in hosting my own gunz private server using my wan ip, now when i do this with cabal, it should work, but i don't know why it won't let me connect to my server, i have attached my cabal log files below so please have a look at that.

Here is what i did, i followed Mr Chumpy's guide 100% step by step perfectly from installing Vmware to CentOS to his cabal repack. in putty it was able to find my wan ip. i only changed the internal.ini to my wan ip. and tried to connect to the server.

edited: i did not have to port forward, all i had to do was enable DMZ and it allows me to host

The server is starting ok but the login server isn't showing the login attempt. If you have the right IP in internal.txt and use the batchfile to start the client then it's a router config problem.

Th first thing i would do is disable DMZ. DMZ is a nice idea but it is known to cause problems for some apps (bittorrent for example) so definitely try port forwarding instead.

Also, if you router allows you to log connection attempts then enable it so you can tell what is happening to the connections. My router allows me to write a log entry every time a forwarding rule is used so i can enable just for those rules, hopefully yours has something simiilar.
