You do know, Glaphan and other mods, that when you ban Caali's files, there are no other completed server files. Therefor, there is NO point in posted in the help section, Since they Mainly ask questions about there server files.
Maybe you could unban them UNTIL a server pack is COMPLETED.
Oh, and if i'm wrong about Caali, and they are not complete, they are the most complete, as of currently.
I'm not trying to act like an asshole, when posting this, but it just occurred to me.
Caali's files that we have are not completed either, and they don't have the source... So no reason to keep them on here. Besides, Rhisis and osA are on the rise and quickly becoming decently stable.
caali files have not been banned cause they are...incomplete...or buggy....they are banned cause there have been too much leeching
They were banned because of being incomplete and not having the source to DEVELOP them, buggy as a result of being incomplete, as well as riddled with backdoors. And for the fact that they were leeched to begin with.Quote:

There are 4 reasons why caalis files are baned if not more.
Reason 1: Rev_1 was leaked without permission from caali
Reason 2: Rev_2&3 have viruses, bugs, and back doors
Reason 3: caali`s files are all incomplete
Reason 4: Becuase all the noobs go and create 900,000 posts on how to get the servers running
Why dosent anyone develope them then? We just had to go and Do 3 other server packets.

Look they were not banned for being incomplete. They were banned for many reasons. two big ones being,
1. never should have been released.
2. Now matter how many times or how big text you type in, NO ONE WILL EVER GET THE MESSAGE. No one will ever get the files to work on their first try because they cannot read, and they expect it to work because they unzip it.
Play with them, enjoy them. recognize them as being a first look and taste of a true server emulator.
But as this is a development forum, you cannot develop these any further. the first few "releases" were databases because the dbase was never included completely so people were in the dark about how its structured
I got news for everyone. Databases releases are not development releases. They are.... drum roll...... Error fixes!
So now you know the story. We have half assed and obsolete server files that should have never been released YET, mind you, and now you know that people become extreme leechers when it comes to setting them up.
Just quit beating a dead horse and accept the fact they are no longer allowed.
It was because of greedy leechers that caali himself will NEVER release the full server files. and let me tell you, I have had the pleasure of seeing a REAL v12 server, it rocks, but I cannot get him to sway on releasing it. I won't force him. He's made up his mind.
So we have made up ours to rid the forum of this cancer that has plagued this place far too long.

I wasn't being an ass either. This is the truth behind it all. I am sorry you can't accept it. Its your choice and I hope you can learn to get past the caali leak era. There are many more chances to get a working server files.

And btw, Caali's server was never meant to be released in the first place. It's ban is wholly justified.
Pretty much why the files got banned especially rev_1 (recently) because some wise dumbass decided to show him self in the forum and made a poll if they should be banned. Ofcoarse most leechers though a replacement would be soon to come, but ofcoarse they dont know how to wait, this is why tehre is so much spam now.

If you didn't notice, it was US, the community, who choose for them to be banned. The moderation team gave us a chance to choose, and we picked the Ban option. If you complain, you probably only come to this forum once a month and aren't part of this community. You're a leecher. get out of here. We don't need you.
