So she was shot in the face, and it what? Caved in? How did it get to look like that?

She still don't look the best, but it looks much better than before! Good job to them for doing that face transplant surgery.

Wow that's pretty cool, hopefully they can do more surgeries.

As for the 'excess' bit - I'm pretty sure that'd be some swelling.

I think finding out what caused her face to cave in would be more interesting than this.

well she really looks much better... but the new face looks too big :O. the pic from the front, she has like a mask. at the top, the head is smaller and suddenly it goes wide. but still, since it's the first one then, go on surgeons.

She looks a lot better than before but her new face is a little bit too big. :3

Yea i remember reading about this, it was a attempted murder suicide but she survived. Im glad that she is starting to look better but there is still a long way to go before she is 100% again, but its a damn good improvement over what she did look like. Hopefully things get back to normal for her and her children :D

She's blind, so I don't understand why a face transplant would of been necessary, but it is indeed amazing. Her husband gets out 2012, Hopefully he doesn't get far :).

After a while, she's gonna have further surgery for the bottom part being well, large. He lost a lot of skin on her face from the shot I guess @ the comment of her face caving in.
