Love the metric system :P
1 kg equals 2.2 pounds
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
Yeh, it's roughly 2lbs... we'll wait and see if anyone else is able to.
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
i can look around for some for you... if i find some we can go from there
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
i`m pretty much down for it.
i mean like, you just made me have some cravings for jolly ranchers <//3.
&i will get what i always crave for.
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
I could get you the Ranchers but I've never seen any big bar Taffy where I live. I have the small chew kinds.
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
i wonder if target here sells those big taffy`s.
or costco ;D
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
Go find out!
Preferably someone from the US or UK since that's where they are largely sold... everywhere else just has huge import prices (like here, it's $5 for a single taffy bar, and only a few shops in the city have it).

Looking for somebody willing to buy me a stack of them (about 1KG?) and send em out to me (to Western Australia). Wanting the hard candy Jolly Ranchers (not the chews), and the Laffy Taffy in bars (again, not the small chews, and no banana).
I will obviously pay for the candy + all shipping costs. Additionally, for your effort i can either send extra money or a give you a spare Steam Account I have which has the Orange Box on it (email address used to make it is also included, for security reasons ect). Payments to be made via PayPal.
Rish have you got a Sugarfix in your area, there in most Westfields I think, or you can do sugarfix.com.au and order of them though not sure of the prices since they're from like the US & Europe?
Just checked out their website, 7.90$ for a bag of Jolly ranchers
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
Yeh parker may have to resort to that, however their prices are still very similar to what we have to pay here... i think $5 for a pack of reeces cups is a bit much. Just wanting to see if it'll be cheaper to have it sent over or not.
Actually, can anyone just give me a price first of what they pay for a 7oz bag of Jolly Ranchers? That website says $8 AUD so that's like $6.50 USD. Surely you guys can get it cheaper? Also roughly how much would postage of 2lbs be?

Yeah not sure if doing it online is cheaper (as opposed to the shop[s] in Australia) but Sugarfix at Miranda is pretty expensive. Are reeces cups the ones which are like 2 small circles of peanut butter and chocolate in the orange packaging? if so you used to be able to get them at Coles but not sure about these days.
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
Yeh those are Reeces cups, they had them (along with "double deckers") in IGA stores here for a little while then they left.
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!

"Laffy Taffy in bars"
Bars? The small chews are way better! I haven't seen the bars in a long time, but I see the small chews everywhere.
Re: Need Taffy and Ranchers!
Isn't there laws about sending this kind of thing to australia? When I went to aus last winter (which was great :D) I took some hard sweets and chocolate with me and it was taken away when I entered the country :|
Lewis.

Security guards like sweets, don't let them see it.
I didn't know jolly ranchers still existed, used to love them as a kid. Guess they don't sell them in England any more, kinda like Lucky Charms, dam I loved them too. :(

Are you saying $2 for a 2-3 pound bag, or did you change currencies halfway through?
And define "biiiiiig" bag :P

Yeh bought a huge bag of the small taffy chews last year, they were nice but girlfriend prefers the bars.

Nothing with nuts. Nothing with wood. Nothing dairy. That is why i said taffy and jolly ranchers only, they have no nuts and are non-dairy.
