That is classic leecher mentality right here Deadly. Are they really that dumb or is it all an act to get what they want?

I can't tell you how many times they tried and "rename" caali server files to act like its not it in order get help. Unfortunately, you have to wake up pretty early in the morning to fool me and I don't go to bed until the sun comes up. damn vampire virus!

lol...ppl can still dream to have that map editor.....

but it can still be nice because there would be a lot of new maps

but only in 1000 maps would 2 or 3 be any good to play on.

If and whenever I get the project close to completion and xadet releases the editor, I might make a few maps and bundle them with the binaries.

In my opnion it wont happen. Its not so simple to make a new map, people dont make new items with the o3d to obj thing, nor new textures, why would they do a map? :P
(ps: of course there are exceptions)
And also people would do like they did with fame's map, not much time after its release it was being released here.

No there wouldn't.

People would download it and not know what to do.

Making maps isn't easy, not at all.

Anyone can throw a few things here and a few there and say they made a map, but to make a GOOD map that's playable, takes time and a fair amount of skill and imagination.

I completely agree with you, Blackbox. I, for example, would be never able to make a good map, cause I lack of imagination and ideas.

That guy TRULY deserves our "Idiot of the Year" Award haha... To think, of alll the people that post to this forum, he pm's the ONE person that actually has what he's asking for. And considering he seems to be "trying to play it off" like he doesn't know, just makes it even more hilarious. Seriously, in my opinion ANYONE that trys to play off something that obvious deserves an insta-ban lol...

To success, with an amazing map, and works out perfectly.
You'd have to been doing the same map for over 100 times.

Or they can all wait patiently for xadet3 to finish his work with the map editor he's creating which will probably preform better then Beast and not have as many legal issues bound to it.

As well as have better futures and (hopefully) be able to be developed onto from it's base, but not sure if he's releasing the source code or not.

If not I'll have to get developing my own pretty soon here means I've got a lot of directx programming to learn though, only because there are some things I'd like to implement a normal map editor wouldn't have.
