About Flyffame...

Hi Everyone....

I've been playing some time at FlyForFame, and they server looks to be like 100%... I wonder how they achieved this... It's very populated too... And the most curious: Where do they got working/bug free files? They even got CW/GW, PVP, PK and other things... It's very nice they server... I'm building my own server, but still waiting for osAflyff/Rhisis, which are great files too...

I was observing a post, and they were talking about Caali's files and to develop them using "Reverse Engineering"... Do they did it? They got it fast by doing it?

Read old posts.If I remember right, DeadlyData hacked into aeonsofts test servers and stole the official flyff files. Or, just something along those lines. Either way, Fame got a hold of the official files.

Fame is using the official eFlyff server files, that DeadlyData had gotten while he was busy hacking them.

Old topic is old, do a search next time... It's only been brought up a million times over again.

But he could have been jailed doing this @_@ o.O

He wont release it anyway, does he? @_@ If he did release, things would have gotten a boostup

By they way... Fame server looks like crashed, since about no one is able to play

No, he will not. As not only would it cause legal problems for everyone here as not everyone can hide their identity as well. It would be useless because then everyone would have exactly the same servers with exactly the same functions. It just gets boring after a while. Fame is unique, and they will continue to stay that way.

It's been doing that a lot lately, if you want keep an eye out in their news section for updates. Deadly normally keeps the community up to date as whats been happening with server sided issues.

Fame wont be useing the official files for much longer though caali was hired by fame to finish his/her server files and to my knoledge they were completed a month or so ago but dont know when they will begin useing them

but yes at this time they are useing the official flyff files

Oh so what will they be using? nothing?

If i fail doing my own Flyff serv, i will just give up and make a Rose online serv by now, and wait till the emulators are playable, since rose is a clone of flyff, or vice-versa, dont really know.

ROSE is nothing like Flyff.

there similar in a few ways lmame from O rose apearently joined our server development and apearenly the systems are very similar but I wouldnt go as far as say they are clones

Funny I spoke to him a while back and he never mentioned this. All Deadly did was let him play with a v12 beta server to finish his files.

Let me clue you in on something.

They would NOT trade official files for hand made unstable servers, ever. The official files are way more stable and therefore better choice to use.

I would get my facts straight before posting something like this.

The reason the servers at fame keep going down is because of their crappy dedi hoster. They are always giving fame problems. Just the other day they cut the power at their warehouse to do maintenance work on the racks without telling their clients. Nice, eh?

Besides. the only developing they are doing, is custom models maps and items. They will not be doing v12/13 to my knowledge as you need an entirely different client and server to accomplish this.

The only thing they can do is make the maps and what not for v12 and such. They don't have the source so why would they develop. Look how long it took them to release Zyrna and the new item tickets to get there. Its not a cakewalk by far.
