Making a whole set of new weapons [Rate]
Hi, I've been working with blender for around 2 and a half days now, I am a dev for rawrgunz, and I have a project of making a whole new set of weapons, starting with sword and daggers in order to get better. I would appreciate some feedback and positive comments and tips.
Here's what i've done so far:

Plasma sword is already made but has diff name and texture (it's energy sword or something).
And your Fantasy dagger look a lot like a dagger from ijji.
But nice works.

Your second one looks like a rip from the energy sword from halo 2 obj files, missing like 1/3 parts o.o

Well I just modeled the plasma/energy sword myself, if I had know it was made before i wouldn've wasted my time.

Model is a bit diff. Energy one is smaller so far I know and a diff handle.

Very nice! Everything is put together a lot nicer than many weapons i've seen on this forum.

The second sword is from halo lol, I just had to model it :p, and uhm, i'm simply using blender.

your textures are a little un detailed, if you are ripping images from the internet search LARGE or EXTRA LARGE images. If you are making them yourself, bigger is always better
Next with your models, as i have said before, watch and make sure your faces arent over 5000 or it will kill your FPS ingame.Use simple models if needed, then add an alpha channel when texturing.
Lastly aligning models to in game characters, make sure to go a little smaller then you expect, often models are too large and you have to rescale them and try again.
I dont like the top of the beer med. Add in an alpha channel and make it like 85% transparent, then it would look very nice
