A few questions.
I've been trying and searching in like 30 - 45minutes now. And couldnt find what Im looking for.
So hopefully some of you will help me.
I put up my server with chumpy's repack and used dordorts CentOS.
I have my SQL 2000 on my windows and running the centos with VMware workstation 6.0.2.
I typed the command /home/cabal/cabal_config.sh and I did as they said and put my WAN IP (www.whatsmyip.com IP) as the WAN IP in the cabal_config.sh setup.
I've checked so the server is online, and it is.
(I put the 192.168.223.2 as the ip adress for CentOS)
So now I've put in 192.168.223.2 in internal.txt and started with start-cabal..
Then I try to login but I cannot connect.
(in cmd, i made ipconfig and my ip is: 85.230.218.155 and im not behind a router i think.)
Would be nice if anyone could help me or a good explanation.

Re: A few questions.
If you set it up to listen to your WAN IP, then you can't connect locally. If you set it with the LAN IP, nobody outside your LAN can play.

Re: A few questions.
So you mean, If i set do /home/cabal/cabal_config.sh and put the WAN ip as the ip I have in my windows, I will be able to connect?
Tried to connect to the CentOS with WinSCP, aint working either "/

Re: A few questions.
It should always be the WAN ip if you want other to play. When set up like this you might find your router isn't capable though so when trying it like this get an external person to try loggin in first, if they can and you can't then your router can't supprot both LAN and WAN players at the same time.
If windows has a 192.168.x.x address and not your WAN one then you have a router.
