eh CS?

Well i've been wanting to play Counter Stike online with my friends for a while, being that i have CS for my X-Box. So i went out to my closest store and went to the computer games area, and the only Counter Strike game they had was Counter Strike:Condition Zero. I payed $30 bucks for it, and my friend says that its not the same game he plays, but he doesnt know if i can play CS with him with it or not. He said his only cost 10 bucks... So what i am asking is, do you think i could play CS with him, or any of you *those of you that have the xfire siggys* with this CS:CZ game or not? if not i am returning it to get my 30 bucks back, and i will try to find teh 10 dollar one... somewhere.....

return the cash. CS:CZ is a different game.

If you wana play CS simply buy a copy of the original half-life. Install it and then download counterstrike through steam. You should have steam if you installed CS:CZ as its the only program to play CS online with.

On the other hand you and your friend could both go out and buy a copy of half-life 2 and play counter strike source (CSS) and play a MUCH better version of counterstrike with cutting edge graphics etc :). Thats what i suggest anyway

You can play CS1.6 with CS:CZ...

so i need half life to play CS? lol, i so know i am going to get flamed for this... buuut... all i have for a graphics card is what came with my dell when i bought it about 2-3 months ago. I dont have a need for a better graphics card, being that the only games i currently play are: SoMx, Wulfram, MU (off and on). so, if i bought HL2 for CSS, do i need a better graphics card?

the CZ CD-Key allows you to download and play a complete copy of CS1.6
go into steam and go to play games, right click CS and go through the whole process

didnt know u could get 1.6 with condition zero.... i assumed you needed half life (in the way ive never bought or played condition zero).

As for the graphics card.... i suggest you go to amazon.com and spend $15 on a radion 9200... I wouldent trust intel graphics with anything tbh.
