Map Thread

I was sitting down yesterday finaly getting to work on maps after fixing my mother bourd (there was a dirt spot on it that was causeing the problem...)

but as I was finaly getting into map editing I thought I would release some of the maps I made

I wont explain how to input them

so if you can use them have fun but dont expect much im not releaseing any of my higher quality maps to the public

also I wont be posting screan shot because it would take too long

I really dont care how you use them

if anyone wants to name any of the ones I release go ahead...

release one is just a moderate sized area to stick spawns or whatever and has a arena and a small town

hard to explain... but much better then the last one atm Ic ant upload any screanshot seeing as it apears most image hosting sites are blocked by my parents T_T;

Wow.

I figured it was about time I stoped talking and Started showing that im not just some leacher...

oh and haha Organic...

I hope you realize ive had beast in my possesion long befor mica's leak just never had bothered to use it

because lets see I have one of those things you called a life

You always say your parents are forcing you to study and do work, I don't think that's what modern day teenagers define a life as.

5/10 on the map.
Only nice thing is the floating arena, but it'd be pain in the ass to keep going up there every time unless you set the spawn point to the middle of the bridge.

WAY too much open area that would be pointless to walk through.

Don't make the texture on the hill area in the middle of the water blue, it kills the colors cheme.


It needs to flow a lot more, and it just lacks creativity, other than the floating arena with the bridge up to it. It's also a bit too large.

Is it just me or are some of the textures not loading?
Might be because I got my copy directly from Deadly with everything extracted already.

to be honest im surprised it made it to a 5 considering I spent what? an hour on it and most of that time I was talking to people in meesenger

Any picture of the map, or the coordinates?

you either have to relplace a already in map with those files (and rename them) then use that maps world ID

or if you know how to add worlds you can do that too



as for quordinates not sure but I do know anywhere between 1-1000 on any quardinate besides Y should land you on the map somwhere

I know how to add jaja! But, the dificult is the coordinates xD

you do realize that with enough brains and the now how to insert into the res files that you do NOT have overwrite an existing map, right?

just extract the defineWorld.h, add your own world ID and Constant, then insert back into the res file. Make sure your folder is in the world folder and there you go.

For testing out the coords. Set your Y coord to about 400 and then when you land, grab the pos by typing /pos. Its built into the client and don't need a GM status to use it.

There is more to it than that, but that's all you get for free.

I got defineworld.h, but in which .res I put?
