I seen this on 'MSN Today', 'tis pretty fucked up tbh :-/
That is wrong, although anyhow, my mumbling about it will do no difference. The way I see this is, somehow, law is 'God' departed from the living, in this situation. The cop tasered her because he has to abide with the law, same principle of saying "I had to because God said so." She's 72 for goodness' sake (yes, 72 [71], you've read my post all the way here like you care), a veteran, to be inducted about her driving? Give her an advice, and let her go as opposed to giving her a ticket, triggering the scene. This is totally messed with; sickening. Americans & fools; what's the difference.
wow the justice system fucking blows....
a year behind bars..... a fucking 72 great grand mother... who at this age and point of her life has no clue what she is doing...
you fucking ass holes, the most they should of done is permanently suspended her license and just a fine....
JAIL + TASER GUN.... fucking abusive justice system..... justice system my ass... there is more justice in 3rd world countries than USA
What policeman is that than cannot hold back a 71yo woman?!
In the words of the great Spider Jerusalem, I wish many guns floating around me controlled by my murder thoughts.
SHe's actually 72
lesson to be learned - dont fuck with officer chris
Read the full story behind it. She was walking onto the street herself which is why she was pushed back to the side (for her own safety). Than she was pushing the cop onto the street (its not a mere street btw its a busy road) which again justifies why he pushed her back. Now for all of you saying "She is 72 how could you do that and shes so sweet", read the full report. She cursed her brains out while she was in the car and when the cop pulled her out of her car. She constantly taunted him to tase her. Now it dosen't matter how old you are, you are still expected to follow the law. If she had calmed down and taken her warning and left, she could have avoided this. Instead she decided to fight back and everything that followed was just the uniform reaction from the cop (he was actually easy on her at first). Im glad shes getting punished. She doserves it (Maybe not a year but she deserves some time of punishment).
Oh and she was being reckless on the road, threatning other people's safety. Another reason why it was a good idea not to let her back on the road.
Using a tazer on an old person bears the risk of giving them a heart attack - that's just sick of him to do that.
Regardless of what she was doing, he could've handled it better but chose a weak outcome...
Either way, the man lost my respect. She's a 72-year-old hag, guaranteed he could have managed the situation charmingly.
Well fucking said. Like Batz said. lol
The old woman asked for it. She taunted him to taze her. So it's her fault, not the cop's fault.
The 72-year-old hag is a crazy looney tune. And, charmingly? I don't think so. If I were the cop, I would've done the same thing. That old lady was at fault. And I will say this once more, she asked for it, she deserved it, and she's crazy. Just crazy. As Tyler said, just because she's a 72-year old lady doesn't mean she won't have to follow the law.
No hes actually not missing the point. Yeah we know shes a 72 year old woman but how else do you propose he could have handled that situation? Should he have used excessive force by wrestling her to the ground and risked breaking her fragile old bones? Should he have pulled his gun out and threatened her with it, risking getting in trouble with his superiors over power abuse?
With the taser, the old lady knew what she was getting becuse she verbally asked for it. I might be messing up the quote but her words were "Go ahead and tase me." He did not risk putting her in shock by surprising her with it. He had it out for a good time before he actually used it. All the while he was passive in requesting she stop and follow the law. He followed protocol and once again the media this wayyy out of proportion so they could get a story and make a few dollars.
Read the situation. You guys are all saying that he could have chosen a better way to handle it. How do you propose he could have controlled a lady who was going crazy? He could have beat her, but shes 72. He could have shot her but she did nothing to deserve that. She was resisting arrest and he tased her to get her down long enough to cuff her. It was his duty to protect the rest of the population driving on the roads at that time, and he fulfilled his duty by not letting that crazy loon back on the streets. You need to get the stereotype of old people being gentle and kind out of your head. This lady was going ballstic and the cop acted in the best way possible.
Even my boner managed to calm down a group of women.
As mentioned before, the taser-gun could have triggered her a heart attack. No matter how much time it takes to convince her to shut the fuck up, he should have chosen the choice. Otherwise the benefit of tasering' her will outweigh the benefit over the risk.
Ok let me repeat this one more time. She is not sitting down on the side of the road giving the cop the silent treatment, like a fed-up toddler. She is pushing him out onto the road and running out there herself in an attempt to escape, and she is yelling and cursing at the same time. If he kept pushing her back the way he did, he might have done some harm to her old fragile body. The taser was the best option there and he capitalized on it.
One more time as supposed:
No matter how much time it takes to convince her to shut the fuck up, he should have chosen the choice. Otherwise the benefit of tasering' her will outweigh the benefit over the risk.
Taser - probability of heart attack, and other psychological issues.
Wrestle - broken bones that can be healed.
Calculate the risk as we are talking about a 'life'.
Read what I am saying. Her yelling and cursing is not the only problem. She is running out onto a busy highway and pushing the cop along with her. Usin excessive force to restrain her would probably have harmed her. Tasing her was better than letting her risk their lives and possiby more lives by escaping onto the road.
Words will always retain their power.
We know that at some point, a human being will loose all the energy, is that right? I assume it is, so slowly but surely there's a guarantee that if, somehow, I argue with an opponent, at one point 1 of us will shut the fuck up, eventually.
Ahahahaha! Ahahahahahaha!Quote:

When lives are in danger, you dont assume anything. Plus he is a deputy sheriff meaning he is second in command. Do you expect him to wait hours arguing with some old lady over how shes resisting arrest?
I actually thought I had found someone decent to debate with. But you turned out to be a douche.
Admit it, Men are superior over the women. A Man should be able to handle a situation over a woman, in any way. Otherwise he may have been having a problem with his 1 inch dick or he's bisexual.
Yes, like your statement is very argumentative despite the fact that you have been repetitive about the details suggesting that I didn't understood? Who's the douche? You are, my man.Quote:

Of course, we can simply put it this way: the society is mentally ill. At least not in the UK.
Your the one whos arguing that shes an innocent litte 72 year old woman. Now your saying that since the cop is superior because hes a man, he should have used force to detain her? Choose a side.
