That's the problem with american politics, repubs and dems are always one sided, which is why I don't believe in the 2 party system. Which is also why people lean towards ron paul.

Do you know why most Americans are pretty much ignorant to the rest of the world? It's because we totally and completely do not care about world politics and foreign affairs. And because of that the news and media serve as a way to SELL the American way of life. Yes, I say SELL. Because let's face it, the media broadcasts towards a very specific audience in America. And that's the middle class and upper class. And most of the people in middle and upper class are WHITE PROTESTANT MEN AND WOMEN. So they will broadcasts what will interest and peek curiosity in this audience and thus sell commercials, values, culture, and morals.
