They add a LOT more humor into it though.

I just came back from the movie, and half-way into it, I was looking forward to the end, it sort of lost me, there was jabbering, jabbering, and more jabbering...
I saw the preimer and the theater was packed, I had to sit in the crappy seats. =/
But yeah it was good, the director did a fine job on this Harry Potter, I can't for the next movie.

Great movie!
I thought the movie was ok, best thing about this movie was the development on Draco Malfoy and the actor who plays him did a superb job. Apart from that I felt it didn't add much to the plot. Can't wait for the next two movies, even though I'm not a big fan of the series it should be great. Always had a fealing that Harry Potter would go out with a bang.

I went to go see it like... 4 days after the release date, the ticket was $10.50. Not only that, but that's the most I've ever had to pay for any movie I've seen in the theatres, and it sucked.
If your planning on seeing it, your really better off waiting until a DVD quality is leaked on Limewire or w.e.
And to add on, out of all the Harry Potter movies, I think the 3rd one was the best (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban).

They didn't even tell the STORY about the Half-Blood Prince.

The movie gets a 1/10 for me.

Saw it last week. It was OK. I didn't like how there are too much talking for a PG movie.

There were maybe a few highlights in the movie, but other than that, it was pretty disappointing. Mainly talking. The wizard duels, well, we all love those (:
I watched it. I would give it a total 8/10 X's
And this is why. There WAS a lot of "jabbering" done in this one unlike the last movie, which was superb imo... I loved how they stuck true to the Half Blood Prince storyline. And yes his death at the ed is very lackluster.. but for those who have read the books let me say on two points
1 - You wont be disappointed. Nothing is out of canon in regards to the book And it pretty much flows like the book did
2 - The scenes towards the end are also like the book. You get the feeling like you could keep turning pages and the story would just go on.
I cannot honestly , now after seeing THBP, wait for the next ones to come out =)
And Those girls.. are growing up reaaaaaaal nice ;)

unlike the other potters.
I noticed that they showed a lot of other stuff in the movie that could be used as fillers for missing scenes.
Like when Dumbledore went to go see Voldermort he had pictures and other things in his room that were hints to the where and what the Horcruxes are.
