Well a little while ago my friend requested i make the old Mansion map so with no knowledge on spiral stairs i decided to learn. I knew once i learnt spiral stairs i could make this map and here is my progress.

I'd suggest doing it with light map the same as the original picture.
As you can see i have tried my best. Unfortunantly MAIET could exclude surfaces from getting lightmapped with 3ds max and GTK is incapable of doing that.Quote:

Nice attempt - my only recommendation is to work on the lighting and floor textures.

But obviously the bad thing is u cant see inside them doors on the left, so you dont know whats in them :/

what if you first did the map in 3ds, saved as a .3ds file, import it into blender, save it as a map file, hen load that into 3ds? or would it lose its integrity somewhere in the process?
Then you could include/exclude some faces
