Whenever I try to select the server to play on I get an error that says Connection Failed. Please check the network. My friend tried port forwarding and changing his ports but that didn't work. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

like, you can log in, but picking a server doesn't work? if so I am having the same problem
Make sure you friend has set up the server correct with all the correct IP's where needed.
I'm still having the problem, so i'll give the details
OS: Windows XP
Emulator: OSA v12
Client: FlyforFame
Ports: All forwarded in router: 17000, 23000, 28000, 15400, 3306
Router settings: DDNS enabled through DynDNS Free
Mysql ver: 5.1
Problem: Users can get logged into loginserver, but cannot connect to cluster or world server.
All ips are directed to dns, also tried localhost with same results.
User has entered correct ip address
I can log in, but im guessing that has something to do with the localization
@Blackbox If you need any more information to help, i should be able to tell you.
EDIT: I fixed the problem by setting the mysql and isc ip to 127.0.0.1 and the rest to my WAN ip
