Bug ? Eternal Robe
Hi ppl :) i was playing with my mage, and then i figured that the eternal robe doesn't load the shoulders (the little dragons) in the robe, here's a pic, i have all the files in tmABCD folder, i can see the Magician Spirit right, but not my char. and also, i'd install an ATI 4650 and after that i cant see the graphics as usual. i mean every word/number in the game is flashing and i dont know why, as you can see in the pics, numbers/words doesnt appear.

Re: Bug ? Eternal Robe
UD characters do not use the same meshes and textures as players... if you don't get an AssaLoadingError (it may be deleted during load up, shortly after it's created) then you have all the files your client knows about.
Flashing text sounds like something is forced in your GFX driver. Probably frame rate... do you have a fast refresh monitor? 150-300hz refresh as some of the HDTVs do?
Almost all PT 3D graphics are rendered in the CPU, so even with very fast modern processor very high frame rates will not happen comfortably. vsync is achieved via DDraw bit blit from the render buffer to a direct draw surface on refresh... the text has to be about the last thing rendered to the buffer, and it sounds like half the time the buffer hasn't finished rendering before it's blitted to the screen during fly back.
Not that LCDs do actually "fly back" but the raster philosophy from CRTs remains in the transmission, otherwise vsync would not be possible refresh would be irrelevant and tearing would be atrocious... okay, sometimes it is on Windows, but only because they (MS / Windows programmers in general) are lazy. ;)
Edit----
I went HDTV hunting with a friend not long ago, because I do a lot of video editing and clean up in my spare time. IMHO these ratings are silly big. I can't distinguish any improvement in motion above about 75 - 80 fps which suggests my motion perception isn't very good as independent psychological tests suggest that the human eye / brain can not distinguish the improvements over about 120 - 150 fps.
Still... 300 fps (300hz) is just silly, you are never going to notice all the hard work your hardware is putting in to achieving that. FYI the cinema has always (since the early talkies) run on 24fps, TV (standard or HD) is 50 or 60fps (depending on your nations preferred broadcast and AC power standard) so if you can get 30fps that's better than "the movies" and if you can get 75fps that's better than any broadcast. ^_^ why waste money, and power (electricity burning a hole in your GPU chip) on more than that, except to boast?

Re: Bug ? Eternal Robe
thats alot information so enteresting and really helpfull but like my teacher said, try the easiest thing first like delete the driver of ur video card and try to get the laters driver; after that u can start to play with the refresh rate of other settings :).
Try also with other client just to prevent some missing file.

Make sure you installed korean font

Re: Bug ? Eternal Robe
Eek! Never install the Korean font... (Font Fix) at least, not on 2K / XP. That only works on 9x, and on Vista, it's already there, and the font fix will break international support on your whole system... if you bypass the UAC protection and force it in.
What you can do, is install the XP Korean MUI pack... but you have to buy that from MS, unless a copy falls off the back of a lorry. ;)
You can also use the Windows Compatibility Tool to force code page. Oh... and you can install support for Far East Asian languages from your regular XP disc... but I always installed support for all languages. Maybe that's what tr1pl3x1 means?
I don't think that would cause flickering text though... :?:
