You need to install the most recent java for your windows.

After it, you will be able to use the tekk editor.
For the rest, you need to just read the README's files in the archive ! xD

i have installed the newest java right now. it's java 6 update 17.
i can use " gshop editor4.0 by Tekk " right now.
but still got error for " element tool6.2 by Tekk " . like below:

So Creating the config File for your elements.data.
You can now edit the file named : listCfg_-MYEN-cli-v..dat
when i click the open button or analyze, the window going to closed.

You must need to select the good paramaters for your elements.data when you want to open it.
Server = 1.3.6 CH version 1
Client = (commonly) 1.3.1 MY EN version 13
i dont know my client version elemnt data. how to find out it rom ? ^^
try "Client 1.3.1 MY EN version 13" in option box in the tekk editor when you want to open your elements.data
If doesn't working, i don't know what elements.data are you using...
Maybe if you upload it, i will try to take look...
i saw on the screen " Ver 1.3.1 Build 2265 " is it what you mean ?
so, what version is beastie's server file ? which ubuntu ( real unix version )

Nope. DDS can be opened with Photoshop or GIMP with the appropriate plugins for theses software.
he is also correct there is a plugin for dds's for 3dsmax as well
but it's rather useless since there is no ski plugin for 3dsmax to work with so stick with gimp/photosho(i don't use any of these)

maybe the java wont load the element.data file cause unsupport font and language ^^

well i strongly recommend Photoshop or gimp on wich u have more experience with
or even other programs just export from photoshop/gimp as a tga/png/tif/photoshop document(i use this one) and import it in another program I for exemple use Adobe After Effects :lol:

there is no very good free tasks.data editor... if you want a complete one, you will need to buy one at the "famous" developpers on mmo dev... ^^"

well... you must have some knowledges in computer graphics and some good tool to make effect on the .dds textures of PW.
You will need to know the structure of an ecm file (for models) and a gxf file (for gxf effect) before making good effects on mounts or whatever yu want.
I don't know if i can release it, because it's in the other forum and they do great work.... and i respect their work.
