psp is better because:
better graphics
umd's hold more data
ps2 quality graphics
no gay control
more games
more non cutesy games (ie games oriented for people 5 years and older)
doesn't look like a cheap flimsy piece of shit
has addons coming like email, browser, office aps, etc

lol i know this discusion / question from another forum. and the most votes went to PSP.
PSP got much better ingame graphiqs then DS.
Ok PSP is bigger then DS but thats cause the bigger screen.
I dont have anything against Nintendo. I love old nintendo games like NBA Jam, tetris, Puzzle boy.
The biggest things I don't like about ds is that it looks like something for kids, it's big and fat with lots of plastic around the screen, and the games are all aimed at kids.
well, my vote goes for the PSP, because hey, better games, much better graphics, and I get to watch Final Fantasy 7:Advent Children on it (I am soooo looking forward to that movie, all of you go and watch all the trailers, its going to be frikking awesome =D), and yeah, all of squarenix's games for it are going to kick ass.

I would go for psp but just barely. PSP has better games but it depends on what you like too
PSP faults: Buttons don't rise back quickly enough once you've pressed them
UMD ejecting is troublesom
Dust collects in the screen which can't be wiped away
Dead pixels
All these problems won't happen if you treat your PSP really delicately
DS faults: Playing FPS with one hand holding the D-pad with the other touching the screen makes your hands ache after a while
DS and PSP screens are both made by the same company (SHARP) and it's been mostly DS so far with dead pixels. Dust thing I'm no sure about but you'll be able to buy protectors.
I don't understand why everyone says "better games" if there is a crappy amount of PSP games out in Japan as there are DS games here. Oh sure FF7 will come out...but that and Ridge Racer...
I love my DS, and its kiddiness makes me play it even more. Also, that fact that the PSP can play MP3's, movies turns me down....I have a MP3 player I don't need another one. As for the Dead pixels...we don't have any PSP's here in the US to decide that, but I'm sure in Japan has some dead pixel probs.
psp = very short battery life, same games as on ps2 - almost no new titles (honestly who want to play same games again? not me lol), high price
ds = looks crappy but besides that it owns psp (to put it simple - because of games)
thats my opinion no one have to agree :icon6:
DS is gonna sell more of only becuase it appeals to all kinds of ages and its cheaper

ds is gonna sell more because its aimed at kids, psp has new games just like ds and the battery life isnt a problem unless you play it all day. If you're turned down by the fact that psp has a mp3 player you're not right in the head.

UK handheld that out classes both of them, also has GPS so the games can be made around your town, also can use to text ppl and stuff....
DS as playstation is sh1t, and 2 screens own, also better games on ds than psp imo :wub2:
If you like playing pokemon and mario then yeah it has better games if you like playing games designed for people over the age of 10 then psp has better games.
2 screens was a terrible idea because now instead of having your attention focused on one screen you have it diverted into two.
DS rules u can use ballpen for playing it it realy rocks!!!!
You do know that there are more adult gamers then there are people under 12 yrs
One screen for the DS is used to display a game menu or map while the other is the main gameplay screen so it's not that hard to focus
PSP does have more mature games and you can get extra ad-ons in the future
But i wouldn't bother buying either cause they both have design flaws. I'm just going to wait for the next gameboy...wait and see if it's any good
