I suggest getting incontact with ebay.. or paypal.. hmm theres some resolution center for paypal check that out.. or just contact ebay explain what happened :P you shall get your chess set!
In australia sometimes if your not home when they come to deliver it they keep it at the post office and you have to go and pick it up, i would suggest either a) find out what delivery method the user via email and ask for the reciept number/order id of the delivery, then call them and see if what he said adds up or b) check the local post office or whatever you call them where you live, if you cant get any info other then that then chances arw you've been scammed i guess

Chargeback the thug and complain. If you use Paypal dispute.
You'll get your money back from ebay if he can't prove he posted it, and a receipt from the post office is not enough, you have to actually ask for proof of postage, which most people never do. They'll then charge him the
Just yesterday I got an email from Paypal about situations like this:
You'll get your money back, he can't prove shit.Quote:

Dios is right.
I got a similar e-mail but then for a dutch selling website (bol.com).
I'd recommend doing it somewhat quickly idk. They might bring up something about a limit on days =/. Ex. It has been over a month since the transaction we're sorry but there's nothing we can do... something like that.
the time to open a dispute is 45 days, i opened it before then ;)
thanks for the input guys
ebay scams, its what i really hate about the internet. -.-
Had a similar dispute over ebay/paypal a while ago, was ordering something for around
Keep the dispute open until the last possible moment. When it is clear that there is no resolution to be had, you want to contact paypal on this number 08707 307 191. Choose your words carefully, these calls are expensive. Explain your position, from start to finish and where you stand now. They should eventually be able to offer you a reasonable solution although I cannot forsee what that would be.
Thats why you always ask for a tracking number from the sender... no matter how low the costs were of your pruchase or if it does cost YOU an extra 3$ for it...

just go kick the shit out of him and steal your chess set back
or if your a verified paypal user, you can claim
Well i'm sure Ebay has a thing like this, where you can contact them if you think you've been scammed like this, Or try the other Suggestions by going through paypal etc.
It did occur once for me too. just tell him to provide the postal delivery ID and you should go check why it hasn`t been sent to you. if he won`t tell you then paypal will issue a refound.
I think the postage cost should have set off alarm bells... i've had things sent from the UK on eBay before and 1-2KG has cost me about $20 (
Happened to me as well. I bought Dynasty Warriors 5 and got fucking Radio. [God awful movie with Cuba Gooding Jr.] But I told the dude what happened and got my money back + I guess this free movie? Too bad it sucks.
:o Best of luck. Ebay can be a horrible place.
If the guy has any negative feedback on his ebay account that supports your case (i.e. other people claiming he ripped them off), be sure to show that to paypal.

Go at the pollice
Well tell this to paypal:
I didn`t receive anything from him and 40 days has passed now. I request a full refound of the payment.
I remember that the owner of a forum called waushare, which is no longer operative, was doing some transactions through paypal and he lost a lot of money.
I think he tried to sue paypal or something, I don't know.
complain to ebay , you cann be refund
