Inspired by Nickasaur, i've decided to create a flyff client of my own. The client will emulate all the protocols and functions that the official client is capable of. This project will be coded in C# with DirectX. Not much more information now as this project is still progressing. If you feel that you're capable of helping private message me. Don't expect updates every day, or even every week. This project will take quite sometime, so don't get your hopes up... yet.

For the love of god, find a way to make it load OBJ files instead of o3d.
Aeon's shitty format is hard to convert.
Hahaha, at that rate you could go and change all the world and lnd formats too to make it so people can steal it but not actually use it unless they know the format and have a client that'll read it.Quote:

Yeah, good luck, i had started a flyff client for mobile phone xD and i got to connect to the official login server (in France)!!
I'm sure it's a great idea, i'd like to help you but i'm too busy with Morpheus server.
For dds files, you can use FreeImage (http://freeimage.sourceforge.net/)
I'd like to use it in my res editor to display live dds preview.
I dunno if it's usefull for you but i've made a v13 nogg client. So it's a little easier to understand how the client works by desassemblying it.

.JPG are NOT transparent compatable
.chr format unknown
.ani (for flyff) format is unkown
for somone like you even if those wernt issues that would take somone such as yourself what? 20 years?
you would be better off just making your own mmo similar to flyff...
