Rant To All Hosting Caali Server. ;D

Kay, Lets get this over with. ;P
Well, I become bored somtimes and look around for FlyFF PServers that are a bit HighRate. One day, I came across this very silly server. A few of there rules where, "No Glows, Refining, and Droping in Flaris". They said the rule was in place to recude server lag. Glow or No Glow, Refining or Not Refining, and Droping or Not Droping, You will still have server lag. The point in this thread is basically to tell the nabs that come up with rules to try to reduce lag, Is no matter what the hell you do, The files will still lag. No matter where you are, Refining sends the packets to the server, as with Droping. Glowing, On the other hand, As far as I know that's -mostly- client sided. Only lag you would get from that would be screen lag from your crappy comp. Reason this is, The Caali files don't have support for many people in the first place. Even if you have a Epic 8GB RAM and 1TB/s Connection, Lag will always come along.

So, To sum it up: Whatever rules you make with your crappy Caali server to reduce lag, Wont work. Hopefully this will reach some n00b hosting a Caali server that has such rules in place and will realize that such rules are a epic failure to cut lag.

I think most people are starting to realize that they aren't that great anymore and that some of the newer emulators are starting to get better than it. Most are already in my opinion. We barely hear about Caali's files anymore, even from the newer joining people.

One caali server I was messing around on told me that.
TAKE YOUR GLOW OFF, IT MAKES SERVER LAGZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The admin told me they'd ban me, I said go ahead, they didn't know how, so they tried to summon a ton of agro mobs around me. They started lagging their own server.

Instead of spamming around our forum, start doing something to actually try and change the face of this community. Like I said before, your non-sense spam is starting to annoy the heck out of me.

Anyone hosting a Caali server is pathetic. How can you be happy with a server that isn't open source.. And still incomplete? There's no sense in it..

Along with your idiotic servers, you have high EXP rates.. Fames EXP rate is already high enough.. Why you all think 500x EXP is good i'll never know. Obviously people who expect more than 25x EXP don't understand the fun concept of FlyFF. Although, I must say, they took that away when they introduced V7.

Also.. All these V6 servers based off of Duotones source.. Why are your EXP rates so high? If you had any sense you'd know that high EXP would completely ruin the fun in V6.

-Sigh.- The FlyFF community has changed too much since they started to screw the game up. Heh...

i agreed... flyff isn't fun anymore since V7 -.-

People need to get things straight.

v7 was NOT that much different than v6 other than skill system. Everything else was virtually the same, with some minor additions. PK and PVP didn't get fucked up till 9 or 10. Which was when the majority of the game took a nose-dive.

v8 ( or 9 as we call it since we "skipped" 8 in eFly ) was when all the good shit got fucked up.

And in all honestly, if they had kept the same pvp/pk system they had in v6/7, and just added 'parts' of the awakening system and piercing system. With ultimating and all that. Then fly would be a hella lot better.

And when I say 'parts' I mean limit the MP gain or just cut that out completely. As that's one of the reasons BP's are the way they are. And no other class can really benefit form mp other than Rangers just so they don't have to spam ton of MP pots or use holds.

Lol V7 fucked pvp up a lot due to the damage in pvp according to level and not just equipment being taken out. Along with the skill system. V7 was in fact a lot different to V6, most people simply didn't see why.
