Prevent login other versions

I just test it and its working...

In this screenshot cabalmain.exe was already compressed. Notice that the 'Version' tab
was not there... cuz it was compressed!..

How to:

Find a good file compressor..
Im using PECompact for this tutorial..

Step1: Hex first the cabalmain u want to compress,
Search for Cabal(Ver%d-%s-%s-%04d).jpg in Text String.
replace it with this value Cabal(%x-%s-%s-%04d).jpg <--FIX
this will prevent to include the version in screenshot filename.

Step2: I think everyone already know how to change cabalmain version..
change the version of your cabalmain must be dsame in serverside.

Step3: Compression setting for cabalmain.exe.
rightclick to the file(cabalmain.exe) then select Compress with PECompact (GUI).
This will appear

Now click 'Settings of Selected'

This picture showing that u need to tick the 'Version' & untick 'Strip Fixups'.
after that press OK then Compress it..

Note: Please keep the backup for your future changes..

I regret to say, but doing so you almost Buga screen shot of the system, so only 1 can generate the same file Cabal (00-00-00-0000). jpg.

GZ on the most trying. ;)

Yeah only 1 screenshot can be taken(T_T).. but screenshot is a not an important function on the game you can still play without it... cuz if u dont change it, your version will be in the filename Cabal(Ver%d.....).jpg XD... So I go to 1 screenshot only & no version display..

can player bypass it using reshack?

Bug!!! Some people with this main can't connect to game, they get this error:

Yea... maybe you did something wrong, I didn't see any problem. Be sure that you put 0 at the continue of the screenshot string hex. (It will look like . in the right side [where the text placed]) Because the long becoming a little shorter. And try using "Hex Workshop" when edit. I edited my own with this, and it looks fine.

I know how to hex, for 80% of players it works good, but other 20% got that error.

Then ask them which OS they're using... I noticed about some bugs that happening only for VISTA / 7 users.

This picture showing that I did not put "." after ".jpg" until "%02d"
How to put in that way? See the yellow box in left panel its "00"..
"00" in the left panel correspond the "square" thing in the right panel so put "00" in left panel between ".jpg" & "%02d....." Sorry i cant explain it well! :blush::P:
