A tribute to Akaruz

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to do something to honor Akaruz? Like name a forum section after him or put up a banner about him in Neverland Ranch (sorry normal members you guys wouldn't know what im talking about there). If you have any other ideas, share them please.

He's not gone. Hopefully he'll be up and back to activity asap. I got scared looking at your thread title for a second there. :(

I was worried when i read the thread title.
But Luke i think thats a really awesome idea.
Preferably something that all users can view though.

On another forum I was on, there was a special staff member who died and they have him logged in on the site forever. It was pretty nice seeing his name every now and then, reminds you of all the goo--great things he did back then.

Excuse me? I don't think you would like it if i said that about your grandma like that. What that forum did was just to let people notice that the user will remain in our hearts forever. It is also a respect to that user.

You can honor someone or have a tribute to someone regardless of their status: here or gone.
I have thought this too, what would be a nice way to honor Akaruz. He has done a lot for not only Ragezone, but private server development in general.

I haven't really come up with any brilliant ideas myself. Regardless, I honestly hope he knows how much he means to the community here, and how big of an impact he's made.

How about a site dedicated to Akaruz?

WOW the thread name scared me!!!!

I like the idea of keeping him logged in forever and possibly giving him the status of "Hero" or something along those lines. That way no one can ever forget him.

I think that's a rather inappropriate thing to say (probably why recieved an infraction). You registered last month, and you were given subscriber due to a forum error. This forum has been rather good to you so far, lets treat some of its legend's with respect.

he did great things for ragezone? shit He IS ragezone.

I started this thing in past forum communities way back, whenever someone was leaving/sick/etc:

Create a PSD file.
Pass it to well known people that wouldn't screw it up through a private message.
They can add whatever they want to it: pictures, text, etc. It helps when they're not obnoxious and fill the whole document.
Continue passing it on(through PMs) till most people have signed it or whatnot, and then export the wonderful collage of...stuff.

Usually it ended up being a giant mess of crap that no one could read.
