Mancent Project Core [Patch 3.2.2 Build 10433 and 10505]

Hello guys, I have upadated the project to a repack for easy testing.
How ever any one is willing to join us on our server at www.wow-gm-world.com

The mancent core is just a basic mangos core fully modified for ascent, arcemu, mangos, and mancent commands.

I have also added our website to the repack, basic html and php skills are needed to modify the site for your selfs.

If any one would like to download the repack and let me know what you think the option is here.
The repack is about 330.06mb but dont worry I have unlimited bandwith and storage with my host.
So leachers are welcome.

IM MAKING A EASY GUID FOR NEW EMU DEVS TO LEARN HOW TO COMPILE AND GET INFORMATION.

Do you have a database to go with this? :D

the repack is fully set up for website and core. with DB included.

If you download and compile your own then you will need to go to the sql folder and install the databse, its a full db working not 100% but working.

The login has been updated today. So the new blizzared patch will work now for client 3.2.2 build 10505.

Just had a quick look and it is stable and most things work ok.
Few bugs though, please fix human start area unable to enter Northshire abby to complete quests & train. Unsure why you have Silvermoon guards in stormwind entrance and flight area & keep as these kill newbies. Not sure why it has fire in Stormwind. Please add tele points so we can transport to areas quickly. I did not find any differences in the three realms. Thanks for sharing.

no differenct really teh core is different for the 3 realms. one is a GM server so all your players would have full command access, the other realms no player would have any command unless they donated to you for a new rank to have access to teh commands you choose to give them.

and the databse is not really my project i would use udb for mangos DB. and run the SQL updates. or just clean up the DB your selfs.

I have alot of testers come to my test realm to make see if the core is stable. and they get full GM access, so the DB has players objects and crap every where.

I downloaded it and I started it up and then I logged into DB and everything I got onto WoW and logged in and made a char and went on it. However none of the commands were working. I dont know if maybe the Mancent account isnt a GM account but im not sure maybe its just me... Do you know how I can make a game account for it i logged into db and theres like millions of accounts tables.. Any idea?

yeah I got the same problem with that. why not just keep the commands so people dont have to run around to find it? I also like to know where the realm list is hidden in sql now so I can change to my own IP to make it work online as well. found where the realmlist were now but I still cant create an account and none of the commands working so I guess I will uninstall it again since u seem to have blocked it for use by others than urself m8 sorry but that does just not work for me. btw I cant manage the website to work either so if that is needed to create accounts then it is of for good.

This didn't work for me.
It installed ok i did the update, but when i start the server it keeps restarting.. all three realms open and close continuesly. i did allow windows to allow program. the website page says

Website Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

also navicat crashes

help if you can please thankyou for the repack

Some help for you...
For commands, while in the game press enter and
type .mangos
This will enable mangos commands. You need to repeat .mangos each time you login to each character.

To create accounts you need to use the website.
If it does not start, try turning off your firewall, then switch your firewall back on after you load the website.

They have 3 realms and 3 databases.
1. = mancent_website (like realmd), mancent_world (like mangos) & mancent_chars (like characters).

2. = mancent_website, mancent_worlddb, mancent_character

3. = mancent_website, mancent_worlds, mancent_characters

Scriptdev2 is combined with their world databases.

The config files are .wtf not .conf
eg C:\MancentProject\vps\world\realm1\config\world.wtf
Search from C:\MancentProject\vps for .wtf files

Also you will need to delete silvermoon guards at stormwind
entrance & flight point and SW keep (which is on fire)
I am not sure how to remove the fire.
Create a character
type .mangos then .gmon then .modify aspeed 4, then run to stormwind, highlight each silvermoon guard and type .npc delete

When finished then type .modify aspeed 1 then .gmoff
repeat for the three realms.

I got your repack working. all i did was UNINSTALL EVERYTHING I HAD. Mysql plus the GUI, navicat free edition, your repack

then i cleaned windows of any leftover file and folders then did a new install of your repack plus update.
All works now i can login with acoount provided

there is some issues still thought. navicat still crashs at start up and when you try to write commands in mangos command server such as realm 1.. it restarts it self.

i noticed that you have boss at starting levels why is it suppose to be a joke not funny..LOL

ill try the commands codes abouve me thanksyou for any more help
idid figure the install problem on my own but i dont think i can solve the navicat issue ill try google as well

i agree there is a lot o crap cause of the people allwoed to modify your UDB it would be nice if some one could make a clean repack for once. thanks for the share you have a nice set up gping on here but i suggest you have a cleaner repack in the future.. to bad i think you have lots of potential to gain massive rep with this.

Ok played around with it

most races starting is good except for humans and dwarfs
northshire you cant go into the abby and the npcs with in are not there( marshal dungan)... the big thing is stormwind keep is on fire. there are some boold evles to delete no biggie

i noticed the bot recruiters are not working other wise cant add bot... i tried the .botadd (name) command.. not working
so should i install the bot myself??? i have to install ahbot anyway..and the teleport greenn goblins not working in all areas.. i delete them going to put portals instead.

as for dwarfs the only thing i seen so far i a boss in the local area youll have to delete.

the rest is good i have not tried outland or northrend yet

this repack i worth saving ...only if Mr.Mancent can help with why i can type in the command consel with out it crashing and why navicat crashs at start up... i need this done so i can creat accounts and such THANKS hope who reads this will find useful

The database sounds like it has some problems.
There are so many projects out with databases and cores that its hard to stay up to date with them all being a soloist.

but maybe in time things will be even better. Once the new exppansion comes out the whole DB will need to get redone any ways.

and the command issuse.
When you ingame the frist thing you should do is type .command
you will then see the .comstyle list .mangos .arcemu .ascent .mancent

if you want to use mangos just type .mangos if your useing mangos and want to see or use the other comstyle all you do is type

.comstyle arcemu

then you would type .command to see your commands.

You have 4 styles to chopose from.
the mancent commands are more difficalt but interesting to use.
Whn your in game you can invent any type of npc name it and give it a subname, then set the faction to a boss or just a vendor. then start to add items to the new creature.

You can then set the diplay of the npc to any thing you want with .npc edit commands.

This core is just a idea and so much work is left to do to make it perfect. So if any of you know c++ or like to modify the core code please come join the project submit a applacation at http://wow-bro.com

Website creators are welcome to take the website and make templates for the servers. all the templates are in a easy html format. useing tpl files.

If you have ideals and want to see them come to life come join me and the others and will try our best to make it work.

As for the scripts most of them are not working and are untested I do not use scripts becasue i check the stableness of the core frist. once thats checked i then start to add scripts.

I was pertty far with 3.1.3 but the updats from blizzard alwasy set me back.
Now im like 35% in teh core again to see whats going on. Doing alot of renameing and rewriting for a more cleanner installation for new patchs and upadates from blizzard.
My idea is to be able to download mangos and just dump a file over the download and compile and it turns it into mancent.

the only thing the mancent project is a full stable command system. I do not mess with any of mangos work in other areas unless i see lots of crashs in that location.
But when your in a gorup project with a large project and you got many users working on the same project. its wise to have one persone in one location of the project and other in there own section.

Yes the website is set up for a automatic system for donations and subscriptions. you have 2 account tables one is for mangos one is for arcemu or ascent or aspirerdev.

so when a user registers on your site they are making a account for mangos server or arcemu server and the website forums.

and if they wanted to donate or subscribe tehn they would gain a rank number that would give them there rewared for the doantion.

this is why you should know how to compile your own core. so you can set the commadns for the ranks. you have rank 0 - rank 99 so you can sell 99 items or 99 commands. but in most cases if you wanted a blizzard server and a donations reward would be say 5 commands like additem and levelup and fly land waterwalk.. some thing different and easy for the donator to do.

but you can also use arcemu with the website the point is kep it all orgainized at the start and you will not mess up in teh latter.

i took care of my navicat crash problem by installing the latest lite edition. i can acess the server and edit now.. yay

i have been looking all over the net for a way to fix the fire in stromwind and no acess to abby with no npcs... i dont see anything thats helps so if anyone out there has experiance to fix this pleas shoot here. thanks.

next if for me to put it on plubic and see if friend can play even though this is a test itll give me more experiance on connection i have tried to compile clean versions but cant configure the server parts.. just dont want to connect i floow tuts to the letter so it must be me some whaere

Hi Mancent i went to try your real server "wow-gm-world.servegame.com"

its not online

i wanted to see if you real server had same issues as repack
do you keep it running or just testing
