Hi there, ive done everything the guide says but when the server is running with out any fails and i click on main.exe to join, there is no server to join :S any know what to do?

I dont know the dns. I read on some other forum that you dont have to open the ports if you are hosting local. The ports are open.
did you register in NO-IP? what did you use NO-IP for your server?
you got Yahoo Messenger?
No i didnt, i thought you could write ''no-ip'' to use it as local. So if im going to use the server for only local purpose is it correct to use 127.0.0.1?

well im getting same prob as yours if im using a short ip example like 127.0.0.1, 192.168.0.101 :*: it doesnt work for me.
dont know if the problem is on my HEXeditor or on my PC :D:
well my solution that i do for that is I need to use long DNS to be able to see the server.. thats why im using no-ip.
ah ok, can you tell me how to use it? :)
use a ethernet cable, Connect to laptop, etc,
on ur server pc (pc which has sql on)y in cmd tpe, ipconfig, Look for your local connection, use the local connection IP, change the ip in server file with your local connection + muserver startup ,well thats how i config my local connection.
