ear problems?

All of a sudden today ive got unbelivable pain in my right ear. At first i thought it might be ear wax... i used the usual methods and its not helped in any way whatsoever and my ear is only hurting more and more.

My dads suggested it might be an ear infection.... It feels like a huge pressure is in my ear drum and is getting worse n worse. The way it is at the moment im not gona be able to get to sleep 2nite... although it feels like my heads gona explode first :(.

Anyone know what it is? Gona go see the doctor first thing 2morow... Looks like we have ran outa paracetamol so im gona be fucked for 2nite :(

ide get it sorted before you bust your ear drum and be slightly deff for the rest of your life.

I hope my mom will be home soon. She's a nurse (sort of) and I go to her for all things relating to stuff like that. :/

haha, so true. this must be why my ears never hurt :D just start ringing for days after gigs

just take it easy so u dont get tinnitus or some.. just go to the doctor and it will be aight..

I called mom at work (XD That always pleases her when I do that). She says it's probably a build up of fluid in your ear drum because the tube that drains the fluid has closed up.

You can take some decongestant and antihistamine, or just do anything that will help open that tube. A warm compress pressed against the side of your head that hurts may help.

Or it could be a middle ear infection where the above suggestions will only temporarily ease your pain. If that's the case you'll need antibiotics. >.<

Ill go to the doctor better and safer to find out whats really happening

I'm stocked up on nurofen at the moment.... So not really much pain.

I phoned the emerancy doctor n he just said take a load of pain killers n come n see him 2morow....

Only down side is i have to get out of bed early >.<

Also when you sleep try to sleep with your affected ear down so that there is a chance that the fluid may drain out some thus helping to relieve the pressure, and I suggest you try to get there ASAP in the morning because the pressure in the ear drum can do some real bad stuff, and losing one's hearing is not fun, believe me -_-

forgot to set my alarm clock... n the next time the doctors is open is on monday :(

Doesent hurt as much now though.... That might be coz of the painkillers tho lol
