What this project is about:
Basically, this web development is targetted at servers without any graphic artists or servers with 12 year olds kids claiming they are graphic artists; either way these complications may lead to potential flyff players not joining your community as many people check the quality of the teams work before joining a private gaming server. Anyways as i'm too lazy to explain further, i'll summarise...
Frankly, i think the free CMS for flyff are badly designed but i'm just expressing my view so... flaming is not necessary.

Sorry for my lame ideas for names but you'll have to deal with it.
Awakening Project is not going to be a CMS since i'm too lazy to make it easier for edit and i'm not really going to focus on usability or functionality but it will be definitely be open source and PSD may be included so you can recode it if you wish.
The reason I am making it open source is because this design isnt really that good, since i've just recently returned to web developing and i made this to revisit my designing and web programming knowledge.

What is this topic about?
This topic isn't about releasing the files since i haven't finished programming it yet, well i haven't started at all :O:
I've only been roaming around the flyff section for like a day and i have noticed there are various types of server files that people use and my guess would be the database structures would be different too therefore before i start developing this website, i want to know which server files are most used or which server files do YOU want it created for.

Incomplete webdesign, the content area will be revised and maybe the banner by moving the images of the mages further left and placing a script which checks if the servers are online and how many players are online.

*NOTE: it's not coded yet and tbh i'd rather give it to 1 server rather than everyone but meh w/e.

If you designed this from scratch with no outside sources then I say you got a good eye for web design ;)

the magicians, or w/e they're called in flyff and other fanart are obviously not made by me.. hence classed as an external source?
as well as the image rotating area of the website is based on a free jquery script you can download, i just incorporated it into my design ;x

so... may i ask which server files are most commonly used?

I love the design mate. I myself suck at Designing, that's why I just add a few CSS tweaks and a banner. Good luck with that project ;)

I must say that I like the design.

Right now, there isn't really a set files that people use, some use Rune, other OsA, others Rhisis, or Glaphan's v6, or official/fame/caali, and others are waiting for Morpheus. Easier just to pick one of them (Rune/OsA/Glaphan's/Morpheus are in my opinion the best choices). Might want to go with OsA so that it's easier to transition to Morpheus once it's reached an initial stage at which it could be released to the public. Also, FlyFF wizard people are called Magicians.

but i disagree the official files are now out and allowed here... Most people will be using that =/ (like it or not) so if you want your site (very nice btw) to reach the most people Id say official files even though i dont personally like them

anyways yeah when i've finished designing and coding it, i release it as open source including the PSD so you can make necessary changes
btw would people prefer me to code it for the OsA db, e.g. ranking etc or
leave it as a xhtml&css and let you web developers import your code into it?

heartbeat, how good are you with php?
I could really use someone like you who is good with design, xhtml, and css because I HATE it and I cant make a good design to save my life. PHP on the other hand I LOVE and, althought I'm still learning I am getting decent at it.
I've recently been working on a object oriented user control panel type website but the design has been slowing me down a lot.


How would you like to work together?

well this project is just for educational purposes (for myself)
to improve my web designing and programming skills; currently i'm just revisiting the xhtml&css and the php is just an addition to it so i wouldn't midn if we worked together; in fact it would be great since i'll be revising php soon after.
MatreX there may be a few complications if we worked together though as we probably live in very different timezones and another factor would be i have a huge amount of work since i've got college aswell as my personal life as well as a marketing company that me adn my friends are creating.
However i could probably get this project coded in 1-2days(xhtml+css) and leave the rest for you; well i would like to speak with you first since i like to get to know people i work with x3
