Admin mode

I'm using Ultimate PT 150 cap server and client and set ADMIN_LOGIN and ADMIN_NAME in Hotuk.ini. But even though I log in with the admin char, I can't become Admin mode. Did I set anything wrong? or What else do I have to do?

Do you have the hotuk in your game files?

I think that's actually the wrong way. ADMIN_LOGIN overrides the password for ANY account... it's like a skeleton key for the server devs, helps you clean hacked items off accounts.

More inportant is that the account you log in too is in ADMIN_ID or from ADMIN_IP, and you PM ADMIN_NAME with your GM level Password.

Oh, I had forgot to put the houtik in game files.

btw when I log in as admin, the chat keeps saying "Server's IP Recv Timeout"

"Timeout received" messages (of one kind or another) are common, in GM mode, and (in my experience) more common the more up-to-date your client OS. Which is to say, you can't read anything for them on Win 7, may read short two word messages on Vista, and can cope with short, infrequent lines in XP, it's no more noticeable than the 1Min, GameSave messages in 2K and rarely happens on 98 (if your client will still run on 98).

Please check Gregoorys' "Let's learn together" part 2 if they are too annoying, as (among other things) it tells you how to remove those messages once and for all time. :D:

Yes, My OS is Vista SP2. Maybe that's why it causes many Recv Timeout messages.Thank you.
