I am looking for an age editor that works, the one I have atm does not. Or give me the byte offset into the server exe with some info as to what is there. How is the rate calculated to be succesful..cant get beyond +5

I'd like to see the tutorials for the manual method. I saw them mentioned in the threads for age level editors, but haven't found them in my searches.
The servers that increased ageing to +18 definitely moved the age rate tables... and since there is no searching function in the age changers, you would have to use one matched to your specific server executable.
Just saying "I want one that works" is not sufficient, as you should use the one issued with the server executable... if it doesn't come with one, there isn't really any way to know which one (if any) will work.
KPT ET 2.2 comes with an updated one.
I don't have the source, but I believe they are byte offset patchers... nothing more. So the offsets have to be fixed. I'd like to rewrite it so the offsets could be configured at run time. Config file or such.
I guess I was to brief in my explanation... I am using the KPT-ET version of the server. and yes it has an editor, however it doesnt work as described..using a -1 as the age value it's supposed to give you a 100% succes rate, not the case, I fail everytime I try to do a +6 without exception. I also tried a myriad of other values only to get the same results. What appears to work is the use of the aging stone, and I dont know how far it will take me.
I have heard others say similarly that ET 2.2 has this issue with the -1 value. I presume that feature is bugged in their +18 patch.
Anyone done any research here?
