[txt] Paranormal Activity
I'm not sure if this is allowed or not. There was a movie that is out right now. It's called Paranormal Activity. Well..... for those that don't want to pay the $7-$14 to see it (depending on where you live) here you go!!!

I watched it a few hours ago with my wife. I gotta say... the ending is pretty damn sick. It's kinda creepy because, even though I'm not religious, I know this kinda thing has been documented in the past as an actual event, and this is one of them. Hope you enjoy! :thumbup1:
PS: If you would like the link to this movie, to watch free of charge, please PM me. It's web-browser based so no need for downloading anything. I can vouche for it being legit. If this isn't allowed, Mod's please remove the thread.
Re: [txt] Paranormal Activity
Why should my post be disregarded and what gives you the right to say that it is misinformed? Are you saying that I did not see the movie? I did infact see that piece of crap and regret having wasted $11 on it.
Why was it not scary? BECAUSE IT IS NOT FUCKING REAL. It was made by a amateur director who had a budget of 15 grand which adds to its crappiness. There is no demon sighting in the movie at all, there is no violence, nothing. Only in the last 2 minutes do you start to see actual scary parts of the haunting with the girl being dragged away and then the actual murder. Half the people in the theater got up and left during the middle of the movie. The conversations between the couple made people laugh, while the movie did not do an equally good job in actually scaring them.
Once again, I stand by my original statement of the movie being a piece of crap, and I would not recommend watching it even if it is free.

Sigh... if you've read every post in the thread, you would know I edited my post because what I posted was due to being misinformed and that people should disregard what I wrote. On the topic though, I can think of a few movies that were worse than this. It's all a matter of preference. You can also tell how times have changed when you view this movie and listen to people's reviews. Old school horror films were built on suspense, similar to this. Nowadays, people want to see the gore, the violence to be scared.

I did read every post and I knew that people told you it was not real. First of all I don't know how you could have thought that was real; there were 6 year olds at the theatre discussing how fake the movie was. And when I said it was not real, I was using it as a means to justify my general thesis of the movie being crappy.
And if YOU were corrected, YOU should have issued a statement of apology to all the people whose posts YOU called misinformed and asked to disregard.
Re: [txt] Paranormal Activity
bloody hell!
its a forum, should have issued a statement of apology? did he wrong u in such a personal manor? its a film, its a forum, most of all its internets dude, chill the f*** out!
Re: [txt] Paranormal Activity
Don't tell me to chill the fuck out. Yes he did wrong me in a personal manner because I do not like being told that my posts are misinformed and that they should be disregarded.

Please read my words for what they actually mean, not what you think they mean. I clearly just said that I edited MY post saying that MY POST WAS MISINFORMED AND PEOPLE SHOULD DISREGARD IT, not that YOUR post was misinformed and they should disregard YOUR post. Do you understand now? Holy hell, never knew it took Einstein to figure that out. I didn't say anyone's post, other than my own, was misinformed and should be disregarded. I didn't wrong you in any way, you just seem to be misunderstanding something as simple as me saying what I posted was wrong. How hard is that really? I don't have to apologize for your inability to understand it. So yes, I do have to agree with overkiller when he says "Chill out".

you're still missing the point. he's saying that his posts should be "disregarded" and not yours.
Re: [txt] Paranormal Activity
Totally agree with I Rule MU, but it's worth watching for kids and the kids with mans bodies :D
Re: [txt] Paranormal Activity
i listen from lot of peoples about this movie but due to the shortage of time i could not watch the movie but i really keen to watch movie
Re: [txt] Paranormal Activity
I've got to say, I really didn't like this film. It just pissed me off the whole way through the guy was calling out the demon. Didn't find it scary in the slightest and it was a pretty poor movie. Can't believe how much hype was generated from it tbh (The board advertising it in the local cinema described it as "The scariest move you'll ever see"). If you guys wants a good film that's recently come out, similar to this, watch 'The Fourth Kind'; I found that pretty good.

i agree with just about everything you said
Re: [txt] Paranormal Activity
Using its low-budget effects and mockumentary method to great result, Paranormal Activity turns a simple haunted house story into 90 minutes of relentless suspense.
