Skinning Advice

Heyz all this is my first or second topic requesting some info,
Lately i have been working on servers and picked up skinning very well,
but there is some things to my knowledge i do not yet know and would appreciate any help with,
i replaced the Phoenix Armor Skin with Inferno Armor skin but to make the effect of Inferno on Phoenix you have to change parts of Frenzy Armor also,
What i am asking is,
I want to now use these files and replace the Brigandine armor with the Inferno Armor,
is there anyone out there who can help me please!?

I see this as a lot of work, that is not very difficult. Maybe a tutorial is in order? The question is too generalised for a quick post to answer.

I'm not sure that I'm the right person to do it, because I know many people here do a lot of skinning and custom armour and weapon making, and will know all the pitfalls. Personally, I've not done much in that way. I have switched out monsters, and re-textured towns, mobs and armour, but not actually done much with Armour stats and such.

I have an understanding, and will undertake a tutorial / guide if nobody else is willing or able.

Celestialzero asked much the same in their thread a couple of days ago. Some of what we discussed there may be of help, but it's pretty terse.

i did the exact same thing as him,,
e.g. renaming the frenzy skins and .smd files to the round armor one,
and no matter what armor i tried replace,
the outcome was a head floating,
and looking at celestial zeros' topic he aint found the outcome yet,
if you could add me on msn,
or make a tut,
i'd be highly greatful :D
