V14 Files and Database

well ive had my fun with them, and the whole mysterey surrounding them has goten stupid now yes these are the official beta files and the db i rebuilt and yes they do work, and no the only thing that is buggy is the v14 dungeon if you can call being overpowered buggy other than that its fine.
(boards are bugged havent bothered fixing them)

to get them to work you will need to look at the v11 files and fill the empty folder accordingly from the eflyff v14 beta client.

use them for whatever you wish because even if i say use them for dev purposes someone will make a public server with them, the people i knew would dev i give the files to as soon as i had them to a point where they were stable enough to be useful.

im releasing them "as is" and arent giving any support for them i got the files and rebuilt the db myself thats why im now releasing them, if you cant get them running its quite simple you dont deserve them to be running as you dont possess the knowledge

you will get bugs im certain of it, try to figure out whats causing them and sort it yourslef as noone here except maybe 4-5 people will know how to fix them so do glaphan a favour and dont flood the help section

anyway heres the download both files and db are in it i wont be uploading mirrors dont ask and dont take the work as your own specially the database or a v14 file crasher wont be long after.

it was going to happen eventually, and i didnt feel like letting someone who got these files from someone i gave them to, to go releasing them taking credit for them as rebuilding the database wasn't easy and most server who have v14 most likely have a copy of my db or the supposed official one which is floating about which the official one isnt actually the official one as is actually quite buggy and depends alot on linked servers

if the files get banned its too bad, will probably do the section a favour im my opinion as there are probably about 5 active users on this section including myself who could actually dev these files, i would love to be prooved wrong and someone out of the blue do something amazing, but alot of people are just lazy or dont have the time to learn to develop which is a shame because i beleive a lot of people who dont have the time could bring some really good things to the table, as for the lazy people i could care less

besides you i am in contact with one but..i plan to look through the files and try to dev them without anyone's help

CHARACTER_DBF doesnt execute correctly, just for your info. I think it might work fine though.

About 50 times.

I did all my small leecher mind could think of to fix this error.

Note: Not begging for help, i'm stating that the DB has an error, just if you know the solution let me know.

i said it was provided as is not that it works as is to get it working you will need to use your brain a little, i couldnt be bothered to upload around 1.6gb worth of model and world folders with it

Google the error and try to fix it on your own with what you learn. It really isn't too hard. I'm gonna take the time to try to set these up on my own. Thanks for releasing this, I'm sure it'll be a pretty good learning experience.

Lol i've gotten them set up however my client doesn't correspond with the files therefore i get stuck on the server selection screen

Google won't help much on illegal files. It also isn't to easy either. Unless you have some knowledge of official files, it's gonna take you awhile =o

The .sqls just need a little rearranging.
And as for the database not starting, i don't know. Mine worked just fine.

I never said it was easy, nor did I say google would give the answer. But you will be able to find atleast some information on an 'invalid filegroup specified' error. If you know why the error is caused or what causes the error, I'm sure anybody with any sort of knowledge with this type of stuff can fix it without much of a problem. If they have no idea what they're doing, then perhaps they shouldn't be messing with these files and should go pick up a book on the subject or something. I never said it was easy, but it's not as hard as people are making it out to be.

stop trying to click and pray with a half completed database. Your problems are only beginning and unless you know how to read a log file, you will be S.O.L.

Use the v11 as a GUIDE not the final product.

If you can't get the filegroup error, then I doubt you should be working with these files since that's probably one of the easiest things to fix.

EDIT: Just clarifying. This post wasn't directed at one specific person, but everybody as a whole. Just so nobody gets on my case.

look in the version 11 CHARACTER_01_DBF.sql and you will most likely find the problem, at-least I did..

the database is complete its just i made it so you need at least an understanding of mssql to get the character database to execte, i know people like you and a few other will be able to do it but the release is aimed at not a click and go server its aimed at people using their brain a little to get a result and unreal the files are 10mb because the world and model folders are empty it does say in my first post you will need the v14 beta client to fill empty folders

I executed all databases without any errors :D and the servers are running fine too but i can't pass the charscreen =( World CCU is already 1 but then i get a connection error on my client. This is my error log:

the only thing i will say is make the character database exactly the same way you would the v11 one and set its properties exactly the same and then execute the v14 sql in place of the v11 one, other than that your on your own compare the working set of v11 files with the set of v14 files and use your brain and it will work, ive done the hard part for everyone by reconstructing the database and fixing the certifier, setting up the files is the exact same as v11 just using v14 resources and executing the v14 databases the exact same way you would the v11

I already execute v11 db and then your db bit I'm still getting CHARACTER_STR problem when im trying to select char

Since it's working for demonflyff it should work for this one too if the Salt is correct..

nope DemonFlyffs Client has a Custom Salt Hash .
The best thing you can do is using jFlyff .
Their Salt Hash is Chanho_park and their Neuz doesnt have any gameguard ;)

I'm correcting myself, I made a simple mistake in the account_tbl_detail. Now I get a "Old Version of client" after taking a channel. Currently trying to do what I can but, I don't know how the Version gets to it's number. <_<
