Empty Warpgate Map

This is a public release of PristonTale's Warpgate map, except
this map has been cleaned from all text and if you ever edit any map's name
and you want to edit the warpgate map well this file will suit perfect for you.

===How to Install===
1. Open with Photoshop, edit it, and then save it as a TGA 32pix/bit
2. YourPTFolder\image\Sinimage\help\----Put The File Inside Here----
3. Run your game and test it out, enjoy!

Thanks for that... I was slightly disappointed to find that it still had some English text on it, and was a single layer file with a separated alpha channel in a PSD when (IMHO) a PNG would do fine... so I went a little further with this as a base and return my work to you.

Attached PSD has the original text "Please select the area" on a second layer.

To use in your client you will, of course, have to return it to a TGA and save it as "\image\Sinimage\help\wg_map.tga"

I have a bunch of these for other UI parts I did for "ZPT" I'll try to dig them out.

Oh BTW... I don't have any "Adobe" products... except flash player, and only because it used to be Macromedia.

PSD files work fine on Corel PaintShop Pro (or the former JASC versions) GIMP and many others, including the low cost Serif Photoplus which has the added advantage of defaulting to exporting TGAs in the exact same format as other PT TGAs, but without the obfuscation.

It would seem that, of those files, the only one that would be much help to others is the Status.BMP blanked image... which explains why I didn't actually make a release before now... but combined with your warp map AB, it makes a nice client customising kit. ^_^

Oh yeah, haha, forgot there is people that might want other languages. I guess I should've removed the part that said "Warp Gate Locator" my bad, I guess.. Thanks though, I guess for english server admins they can still use mine. :D

Yea, the East Asian versions text takes up a lot less of the image too... so I usually start by masking text from several clients, and then you only have to reconstruct the parts which have text obscuring them on all client versions.

The Japanese client, and the Chinese one use slightly different bordering and stuff, and the Korean and English clients have map pins in slightly different places, so the large continent map doesn't quite match up whatever you do.

But it's a good start... I usually find I don't like the text format used by the official clients. I don't find it clean to read, and in places it lacks atmosphere... so whether you are looking to add your own style, or a new translation a blank page to start from is always a good thing. :D:

I just use the Photoshop clone/stamp tool to recreate texture over the font and then it looks like it was empty at first, but I'm good using that tool at first it was hard to learn. :P
