What would you have done.

So i go to a supermarket to buy chocolate stuff for my moms boyfriend birthday, now i have lots of small change, lots of 1 and 2 cents and a 2 euro coin, i have to pay 2,60 euro or something.
So she starts counting, now i don't know wether she was very stupid, high or just so amazed by my looks (:P), but she was counting 2 cent coins as 20, now normally i truely don't care if they mess up, however she looked nice and all, so instead i corrected her and paid the right amount.

So question, what would you have done, would you just let her mess up and that she has to pay for it (if the amount isn't correct they have to pay for it) or would you have corrected her because she looked nice and all.

Btw if you always correct them no matter from what gender, age and looks, then you don't need to reply.

I dont like stealing... once I accidently took 10 pounds of this guy where I work, and he gave me 20 and I thought he gave me 10, I felt bad for the rest of the week :( so yeah I would correct him/her n1 gohan

depends on what they look like and how much i would get away with.... for a few pennys i wouldnt bother....

Was she a foreigner?

If so, I would correct her, otherwise, I see no point in correcting someone who had the chance in getting at least some education (enough to tell the difference in your currency).


A lot of other factors can cause this situation, though...

i wouldnt care about looks, id care about attitude.. if she/he was all "come on i aint got all day bitches!!!" than i would have let her mess up but if he/she would have aproached in a polite manner liek "hello sir, good day :) thank you come again :D" i would have corrected

I would have shot her down with a rather large amount of peanuts (using a catapult)

well if she was nice(or hot) and i liked the store and had a good impression of it i wouldn't bother stealing, but theres this store i hate and yet need for my groceries which i have stolen from. for example, once i was buying candy and the girl counted all of the candy as 8 cents a peice (it was really 69 cents a peice) , but hating the store and being treated poorly at it i just payed a few cents and ran out of there.

PS: yes i still eat candy, don't call me an eight year old or anything :icon6:

I allways tell them if they given to much, and no bs here.. ask my girlfriend.. everytime they give me change and its less than 20p.. i tell them to keep..

well since it's a supermarket then it's being owned by a heartless corperation such as coles or woolworths.....but if it's just a local supermarket that is owned by IGA (Independant) then i would tell her that she's givin me the wrong change

Deppends on what mood id be in...
Good = corrected her
Bad = just left it

For me... depends on if I caught it or not. If I wasn't paying attention (and I'm normally not) they could owe me $20 and give me $2 or $200 and chances are I wouldn't catch on until about the next week when I realized I was suppose to have 18 more or 180 less. :/ (And by then I haven't a clue what went wrong where. >.<)

When I do catch them I correct them.
