ok so recently i've been making a server for my friend,
there is just a few things to do,
one of them being clans,
i setup the database etc. in my sql like it says in the read me,
i've portforwarded the ports i need to, (8080,80,1007)
done the registry, edited the dll, but when i still login game and try create and account,
'Erroror occured (58)'
please help,

error 58 is connection problem check if the port is opened and if u configured the sql.dll
if that not work go to sik troubleshooting clan guide

@josh: i done all the ports and sql it's just the iis i don't know about.
1. you have to use only netframework 2.0, it won't work with others.
2. make sure you configure your IIS as needed.
3. open port 80
4. do not forget to put in the hotuk the commands for clan system
5. make sure you create the databases in SQL Server as needed
6. disable your firewall

sorry for double post but it went back to error 58 all on its own :S
configure your ODBC
make sure you put
ClanDb -> use SQL auth, <sa> and <pass>
and also add
SoDDb -> use SQL auth <sa> and <pass>
and also
Sod2Db -> same
configure also your SQL.dll -> dont use localhost, use 127.0.0.1

Error 58 means that your Clan Script files are wrong, maybe reinstalling or reconfiguring your MSSQL 2005> ClanDB Script can help, I've had this error before and that is how I fixed it. Also I can help you via msn if you want Jakey ;)
hmm i think i fount my problem which is the iis system, it's blocking everything, my obdc, vertigoserv and sql server any advise? o.o
Gahg! You won't like it. Re-install Windows, unless you can log in to SQL with another account, delete SA, and recreate it.
Theoretically, uninstalling SQL and re-installing it should work... but it's uninstall is buggy, and leaves behind the problem which causes this to happen... so, a restore point, system wide backup, or restore from the install monitor you run may do the trick... if you have any of those.
