That may be one factor, but the main reason he was banned was because one of Game Networks other game, called Myth of Soma, was hacked by MentaL in which he deleted loads of stuff and completely fucked it up. Loads of people from MoS and Mir2 have hated him since, including the staff.

so how come MentaL aint gotten in trouble? a.k.a lawsuits....

but how did they know it was him? (on mir2) as his name wasnt Mental,
lawsuits - it would cost them too much and may be too damaging
lawsuits against server hosts - many of these are under 16 meaning they wont have anything to be able to give and their not even adults, im sure it would give them a great image.
Soma - just tells them to increase their security
