What would you like next?
As of 5PM today,12/1/09, the winner is the item editor. 2nd was the NPC editor and 3rd is the vendor editor.
I would like everyone to give their opinion on what they would like to see next released.
So far I have given DyoManager and soon-to-be released RegionEditor. I am getting some time off for the holidays so I would like to know if the people would like something else (aside from a world editor).
ItemEditor
NPCEditor
VedorEditor
The list goes on. But for now, those are some of the things I am starting. I'm in the middle of being in the zone so as me what you would like and the most votes gets the win.
Re: What would you like next?
I would like a NON leecher community who can understand how to KEEP closed source projects in CLOSED source way.
also i would likeemulators back... and some dev would be great :3
Re: What would you like next?

Auto item inserter with options for cs sets, equipment sets, weapons, shields, transies, boxes, whatever you can do. Would make my job a helluva lot easier.

Yeah, something that will insert it into propItem.txt, .txt.txt and defineItem.h would be awesome. Possibly also a texture inserter. Would be great for devs.

Re: What would you like next?
I'm assuming by item editor you mean...changing around the effects etc on in-game items? One thing though that would make that the greatest just about, is if you could edit the contents of the boxes along with the percentages for getting each item.
I'm not sure EXACTLY how that works in Offi files really, as I've not had the time to fool with much lately as I'm too busy trying to come up with another motherboard still, but I remember that was one of my biggest problems when experimenting with the caali files (besides the whole leak issue of course..).
Re: What would you like next?
NPC Editor would be the best i believe , make some actual fun quests , when people make a new map like you have to clean out this 1 whole place to go to the next lvl of the map and at the end have some giants , since vendor editing and item editing is pretty much easy and makes people do some work besides just looking for others to do it , but thats just me .
Re: What would you like next?
Well the item editor pulled ahead but it looks as if the NPC editor might be the one next.
I'll decide around 5PM EST which one is farthest ahead.
I like the idea of changing the box contents and whatnot but it would be a challenge to create some new quests.
I want to point out that you will still have to res edit the files upon saving them. I hate the res file structure that I'm not even going to mess with it. Plus it'll give all you something to do.
I should be releasing the Region Editor hopefully tomorrow if I'm not feeling like shit.
Re: What would you like next?
Like you said , gives people something to do with editing the res files but making a item editor or vendor editor makes it to easy and no work for the people , plus quest would just be awesome

Well, making new quests WOULD definitely be fun and challenging for the people, no doubt about that. In the end, I'd say the item editor and NPC editor would work GREAT together though. And as for the Res file editing, that's nothing and feel anyone that can't do that doesn't need to TOUCH a private server even lol.
I'm not quite sure if you can make new items with the offi files since I'm not totally up to date with all of it, but even if not, you could just use a currently existing box and change the contents for it and let it be a reward for a new quest etc.
I really look forward to these tools, even though it's gonna be quite awhile before I get to really toy with any of it. Keep up the good work GK =]
Re: What would you like next?
Seriously a vendor editor is alot better
vender = Shops
You can edit the items there and prices its better then doing it manually!
