Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
What language are you building this in?
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
Sadly i will build this application in vb.net =/
im trying to learn C#
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
lol nice. I never much cared for VB .net. It'll be interesting too see the differences between this and a C# version if you release the source XD.
Have fun with your project!

Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
Offtopic: I lol'd at the avatar being the same as Deadly's.
Ontopic: Looking forward to this. There has been some projects like this in Development section. Though, the only one that I remember is Deadly's generic patcher. Something like that.

Didn't know that.
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
make it so you're able to change (a simple text field on the options should do it) the string that is used along with neuz.exe (sunkist/fameguy/obamaisafaggot) etc.
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
if i knew c# i could help but im noob and only know how to fuck shit up badly enough to the point that stuff works.. lol
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
lol he said he's coding it in Visual Basic .NET. I mentioned coding in C# XD
I forgot to mention this earlier, if you're coding the GUI for the patcher in XAML and need some help let me know. XAML works on C# and VB, so I can help you out with the interface.
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
what is the code for the autostart for the patcher that no need to click the game start in client??
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
it depends on the language you're coding in. Google "how to start programs" for the given language and you should find what you're looking for.
If you meant how to run the neuz.exe without running the patcher, it's still the same concept. The code just wouldn't be inside of a button
Re: [Early Development] Server Updater / Patcher
C++
#include windows.h
system("START Neuz.exe sunkist");
Beep(1000,100); <--- epic sound
You would see a command line :/ showing up and closing tough
