hehe I've debated this many times :)
The main thing I will go into right now is that it IS a bit convenient
WHEN it happened because JFK had stressed that we "USA" had to get on the moon by the end of the decade... And most importantly, before the Soviet's did :) Besides all the video tapes and conjectures and pictures and blah blah blah out there, this is the one that sticks out into my mind; America wanted to be first, plain and simple.

nah i still believe its fake, it just seems too unrealistic - why did they suddenly stop going if they did it? and how come the soviets never tried it? they knew it woudnt happen so they gave up
