What a horrible day

Hey dear ragezone users. Ummh today at school
i were supose to show some wallpaper news for my class. I stood at the top forward in the class room...everyone went quite and looked at me. My teacher told me to start reading and i totally freak'd out after just reading a few lines. My face went all red & i was sweating like a fatty pig. After reading a few lines at the text, i could hardly see the text, even thought it was just a few lines to read. I could'nt read anymore i just stood there and stare straight forward :o.o: . My teacher asked how i felt and i said ' i don't like this' ...and i could finally go back to my place

My little brother had reconstructive surgery on his knee today. He won't be able to walk for a month, and won't be able to bend his knee for 3 months. Full recovery will take over 12 months.

Your day doesn't seem so shit anymore, does it?

I heard that my favourite teacher has cancer yesterday. He's always been one of the strongest, happiest people I've ever known. I used to be close friends with his son, I even had a sleepover once :3 I just still can't believe it. He's in critique status atm. He was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

Doesn't seem that bad, now does it?
Things like that happen to the best. Man up!

Just failing that is totally not bad, almost dead, having a surgery, etc...
all of them are more worse then that what you had, if you find this bad you will hate your life when you are going to work

I didn't request for some sort of a challange, i thought i could get some tips and help here but you are just e-wannabetough ..

We offered no challenge, nor were we being "tough".

We are just saying that if you're gonna complain about little things like this, your life is gonna be tough. As you can see, many people have had MUCH worse things happen to them today, and none of them are crying about it.

Big deal, so you can't talk in front of your class. Suck it up and grow some balls.

God c'mon guys, some of you really disappoint me. Perhaps you'll realize why so many people don't ever open up to the community when the first thing you do is find fault & slate the thread starter for his so to be called "weakness".

My apologies Pirate for the attitude of those on this thread. Chin up though fella, its very natural to get stage fright of any kind. That's what it looks like to me.

But rly dude, its normal to be scared on the stage, specially in the early ages (i dunno how old are you so... i am not telling you are a kid). But it will eventually go away as you do more and more oral presentations and speak to random people or wtv.

Try to learn the text well before presenting so you know it. Make cue cards and dont have the whole text in front of you, cue cards are better since you can improvise a bit and not sound like you learned the thing by heart. Which makes you sound not natural and its easier to find the stuff with them if you got lost.

Thanks for some help guys, and this is'nt a big deal but this will for sure be a negative thing since i could'nt do this i got a 'D' which sucks.
I'm not bitching about it, i'd just wonder if you have felt the same or got any good advices.

Today in Baghdad 120 people were killed in a series of car bomb attacks throughout the city. That's two attacks in as many days. The other was in a school. Your brother's day doesn't seem so shit any more, does it?

I tried to rape my friend last night but she was wearing one of those "anti-rape" condom things.

5 hours sitting in the hospital having the thing surgically removed while she laughed at me.

This might be a gamer forum but this is the 'Out world section' Dumbass.

A lot of people get nervous with presentations and such, I'm 20 and I still get nervous when having to stand up in front of a group and present something despite doing it countless times. It does get easier as it goes on but I often find going into a sort of 'overconfidence' mode helps. Making sure you know what you're going to talk about helps too. But hey, just think that it'll all be over in a few minutes and that you're not the only one dreading presentations :laugh:

Anyways, you'd be surprised about the amount of people that have the same problem. Some people have no problems with it at all, where others nearly shit their pants. Eventually it'll go away when you get used to it, so you could try to practice a lot.

Rishwin is just a horrible human being, its his nature, dont pay attention to him. He can be ok sometimes but most of the time he cant help but at least annoy one person for today.

just sounds like you need a little more confidence mate, speaking to a group of people is easy when you are confident in yourself

when you are at home and comfortable just play it through in your head, you stood with the class watching and you read something with confidence, keep practicing over in your head and when you come to do it again it will be easier

<.< I'm not really the guy who pepole give bad comments and such but i'm not either popular..pepole avoid me and really makes me sick :3 they seriosly make me feel worthless. This thing didn't really make the matter any better.
At home, i talk infront of my family ALL the time! ;D

Errr, nowhere did i say anything about his problem, i merely stated that if that makes his day horrible, he's gonna have one hell of a life. So he just has to suck it up and find a way around it, or it will pull him down for the rest of your life.

I always have and always will have public speaking problems. I never once did a single oral presentation in high-school, because i simply couldn't. Instead, i had to record all of my presentations onto a tape and submit that to the lecturer so they could listen to it later on and assess me. I didn't mope around and have a cry cos i couldn't do it, i just found a way around it. I did in fact even see a psychiatrist about it. They said there is absolutely nothing you can do, it is something you will just grow out of. Until then, just hang in there.

Jamie, pull that stick out of your ass and eat it. You have 9 pages of infractions for a reason - cos you're a dick. You talk alot of shit for a 16 year old, i'd love to see what you do when you finally do grow up and the real world hits you.
