Hey guys,
Just a wondering thought, not to long ago I took this up with my other fellow Supers but it's always nice to get some feed back from you guys the RaGEZONE community.
So on that note. What do you guys personally think we can setup for competition ideas? Which yes involves winning prices & whatnot.
Be as imaginative as you can, but do please try to be mature which what you post lol :)

Winning prizes is a bad idea if you ask me, contributing and getting thanks for it is enough.
A few new sections would be nicer for Aion and GodsWar.
Other then that I don't know really.
Imo, with the prizes you could give the winner(s) a choice of instead of having a subscriber rank they can choose to promote there server via a sticky or one of those banners in the specific forum that they use (eg. if the winner has a WOW p. server then they can have a banner in the WOW section), and if they don't have a server or they would rather have the rank then they could have a choice.
The weekly competitions that started when Dan became active again lasted like 1 comp and then haven't seen him since, maybe we should get a small team of mods/supers to handle the competitions then it won't fall on one person like yourself or Dan.
A sticky would work, banner nope.

This. This is the best idea mentioned so far. Yes, a banner might not be possible, but I believe a sticky is a great way of rewarding. If the sticky is in the main section of the game, and not the advertisement section, it gets more views.Quote:

Maybe you can have a quiz about what happen in RageZone 09 or 08.
And, you can have a competition that who can make the most funny video/picture.
Also, you can have a competition of getting the most refferal or most active in RageZone.

What would these competitions include....
- drawing contest
- music contest
- how many thanked posts/threads you can get in one/two weeks
- high score in a certain arcade game.
Yes, having it in both would be better. I mainly chose the actual section because I felt it would probably get more views as opposed to only being in the Advertisement section. If it was in both, then yes, it would receive more views. That was a better idea than I thought of :thumbup:Quote:

a prize like a custom name colour or a custom rank would be fine imo. Yeah i know its a pain in the ass to go and create another rank in vB for a custom colour, but it dosent cost anything and it would be a popular and sought after prize.

Thanks so much for all your ideas/posts folks. The idea has drawn in more attention then I expected which is always great news.
So what I plan to do is hold a meeting this Sunday (as Sundays a lazy day for most so hopefully people will have free time etc). Parker & Junkers I'd greatly appreciate it if you both joined me but it's up to you.
