Warning: Games-Masters.com launches war on illegal servers

Sheffield, December 3rd 2009: Games-Masters.com, publisher of the massively multiplayer online games CABAL Online and Perfect World, have today stepped up its action against illegal private servers. It follows recent success against one of the largest Perfect World Private Servers, with the service shut down with the support of the local laws and data centers involved.

Illegal servers, based on the theft of intellectual property, have become a growing menace for game publishers around the world. Causing a hugely negative impact for the publisher, with the loss of revenue and impact on the games reputation estimated in the millions, these servers pose a great risk to the users, who are often the victim of internet fraud and a sub-standard version of the game.

Games-Masters.com, in an effort to stamp out these actions, are working closely with the relevant authorities and are taking the strongest actions against individuals and corporations deemed to be in breach of international copyright laws. This is set to result in legal action against the worst offenders, with damages and criminal remedies sought.

The company are hoping that this campaign will not only make the hosts of the private servers aware of the illegality and consequences of their actions but also raise awareness to the thousands who play on these services of the risks involved.

they will never will... we are stonger then ever....hahahah but look they cant stop us...we are not just 100 we are much more then this...this will cost time for they and time is money! they can shutdown 1,2,3,4,5... servers but then the servers come back ... one thing that they need to understant is that ANYONE cans if wants create a private server...And why do people create? they dont like the way the game is by normal... why dont make it faster and funnier?

Well this forum works on PW MyEN not International. With that, that means nothing to most of us. However it's interesting that they want to do more work for themselves around the holidays, they'll learn to give up soon after the new year.

Big private servers will die and new small servers will take the advantage.... it's impossible to stop all private servers... they waste their time to do it this :/:
