[Guide] Hide Mode in Quest (for Moderators)
This is for moderators in-game. This will let you go in any quest without crashing your client. I've had this problem before & so did one other moderator I know, but this method will help you scope out those quest editors/hackers. This is my own little discovery I found out at TrinityGunZ a long while ago.
- In lobby, type and enter '/hide'.
- Create a new game. Set it as Quest Mode.
- Select the first map on the list (most likely Mansion)
- Make sure that you're still in hide. Your room should be at 0/4 player capacity now. No one is in the game stage players' list.
- Start game.
- Now that you've loaded up and entered in-game, it will end game quickly. Obviously, this is because there are no players actually questing.
- Once you've returned back to the game stage, pick the second map (Prison).
- Repeat steps 5 & 6.
- Now pick the last map (Dungeon).
- Repeat steps 5 & 6.
- After you are finished with cycling each map, you can exit the game stage.
- Now you can get into any quest room without worrying about crashing your client. This is a buggy method -- you cannot spectate players in quest hide mode, only a few mere seconds after the round is started. But still, it is better than nothing.
Questions? Typos? Suggestions? Post ITT.

lol who didn't know this?
But you don't have to load up every Map, just load up Mansion and join any Quest you want.
It will takes awhile befor you can see The Character's who currently playing but it works.

This was posted long time ago but this 1 is more detailed how to do lol

Re: [Guide] Hide Mode in Quest (for Moderators)
I've known this a long time ago. Anyway, it's good to know that you've shared it.
Also, you won't need to load every map. You'll notice a map mismatch.
Example:
You loaded Quest: Mansion in /hide mode, and once it is loaded, you leave the game.
You join a Quest: Dungeon game in /hide mode. You spectate the user.
A moderator might think that the user is wallhacking, but the user isn't, since you have loaded a different map.
Re: [Guide] Hide Mode in Quest (for Moderators)
Thanks for the info I did not know this. I knew it would crash, but doing it this way works for a little? hmmz....
Re: [Guide] Hide Mode in Quest (for Moderators)
That's good. Even if you can't be a spectator, you can identify the obvious hacks and ban people \o/
Re: [Guide] Hide Mode in Quest (for Moderators)
i had already posted a method for this that was much easier
1) go into hide mode
2) find out what game their playing(e.x. lich)
3) get the lich combo, and then just enter quest the first stage(you can even do any quest and this will work but if their doing lich with lich, its recommended to do lich and not goblin king at this part)
4) game ends.
5) you can enter their game no problem.
Re: [Guide] Hide Mode in Quest (for Moderators)
And what if you got 30 quest mapz xD
Anyways , is there not a option to script the
bug as a default ´hide option mode´
Thanks for posting, :thumbup1:
Re: [Guide] Hide Mode in Quest (for Moderators)
/hide
*make quest room*
enter other person's quest in hide mode
Hold alt to see their names if you can't find them by looking.
*yawns*

Very good guide Styx Actually I knew the trick but there are many people who do not know how to handle this situation, an excellent guide! 10 \ 10
