Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS2)

OK if anyone ever played Kingdom Hearts i sure think they are going to like Kingdom Hearts 2.
I will Post some information about it here.

General Storyline

"Heartless once again begin to appear in many Worlds, and threaten the balance of life. It's unknown why or how they have returned. Some claim that Hollow Bastion is once again the cause/source of their unpleasant return. When Sora hears about this, he gathers his companions and they immediately leave for Hollow Bastion. They arrive and discover the World is in total chaos. The essence of what they believe is Darkness, that is emanating from the castle, is warping the very World itself. Before they have a chance to head to the castle, they are surrounded on all sides by a very large group of Heartlesses, including some they had never seen before. They have no choice but to try and fight their way out, with the knowledge that very sinister things are taking place... and it's only the beginning."


Blonde Haired Kid

The only note-worthy thing from any magazine was from V-Jump's E

Characters:

Riku:

Riku, who is the true keyblade master, lost his body over to Ansem after joining with him. Riku was than powerless, as he was being controlled by Ansem. In Kingdom Hearts, you face Riku twice as he is controlled by Ansem. Riku abandoned the body and wound up on the edge of the world of darkness, and was led by an unseen force.
In Sora's last battle (the one where you defeat Ansem), Riku is able to cross over to the "other side", as when after Ansem was defeated, the door had to be shut and Riku stepped forward and helped close it shutting himself onto the other side along with King Mickey.

Is Riku the blindfolded unknown who is shown in "Another Side, Another Story?"

Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that one of the characters in "Another Side, Another Story" is Riku. In the video, there are only two unknowns that are shown and it said to be the the blindfolded unknown. Rumors have it that the blindfold is to cover his eyes due to the light exposed to him. Many people already come to the conclusion that the blindfolded unknown is Riku due to the very similar hair style as well.

In Chain of Memories, Riku is all over the place. The first indication of Riku we see is that in a screenshot in Monstro, a translation is reported as Geppetto saying to Sora and the gang, "You will meet a precious opponent, you once got seperated from." This is obviously Riku and but what is more interesting is how Geppeto knows this.

In certain magazine scans, we are able to see Riku (both normal Riku and dark Riku so we know his character changes in Chain of Memories). Below is a translation from the above magazine scan:

Normal Riku: 'Ask your memories about the reason. If you remember why Namine disappeared from the island, you should know.'
Dark Riku: 'Sora...if you go any farther, Namine will be hurt.'

The girl, whom one could see so far in some pictures, is called most likely Namine, is thus not not Kairi. This is the girl we see in Chain of Memories drawing the castle. In a scene Riku is to say that he will never let someone to her.

In another translation, we see Riku say the following: But I know something bad is happening. I'm worried about everyone else so I'm going to go find them! In essence, Sora is said saying "Riku!? Riku's here too?".

In the Chain of Memories trailer, we also see Mickey and Riku in black robes at the same croassing we have seen Sora at before. Apparently they meet with the Unknown in the red robe, which could be Ansem, and Riku had an unknown outfin on.

Sora:

Sora is the original keyblade master and was originally out to seal the doors to the heart of worlds, but other than that, the most important thing to him, was to find Kairi, who was missing after their worlds were destroyed. When he found her however, he learned that Kairi's heart had been protecting him, and they had always been together. In the end though, Kairi was seperated from Sora..
After closing the Kingdom Hearts door, Sora's mission was not done. He still has to find Kairi, and also, he has to track down King Mickey, as well as find Riku, who had been with Riku after the doors closed. The journey begins, again.

In Kingdom Hearts 2, Sora's outfit is like the one in Kingdom Hearts, except, it's all black! Sora's age in Kingdom Hearts 2 is 15 years.
Is Sora the dual-wielding unknown?

In both "Another Side, Another Story", "Deep Dive", we see a boy who has the same characters as Sora (but we cannot see his face) with two keyblades. In both movies, the focus was around him, but we can confirm that the dual-wielding character is not Sora. In the Kingdom Hearts 2 trailer, we see a fresh shot of Sora in his new outfit, as well as the other character, so now the question, is he a shell of Sora? You can find more about the Duel Wielding unknown.

Kairi:

After Kingdom Hearts ended, Kairi met up with Sora again, before they are seperated again. Kairi is now on Destiny Island and is watiing for Sora. After all, Sora promised to return to her after they were separated when Sora closed the door to Kingdom Hearts.
Kairi grew up on Destiny Island but she is originally from Hallow Bastion, and lived with her grandmother before she went to Destiny Island. On the night of the storm and the invasion of the heartless, Kairi's heart was taken. In Hollow Bastion, Sora found Kairi laying on the floor and Ansem told Sora that Kairi is one of the seven princesses of heeart, and without her, the door to the darkness will not open. In a very touching moment, Sora got out Sora's heart, while Sora becomes a heartless, but Kairi still protects him in front of the castle.
At the end of "Another Side, Another Story", a girl is shown running out on to the beach looking at a shooting star. The girl looks much older, as she has longer hair, but this girl is the older version of Kairi, who seems to be more matured. From looking at the shooting star, it proves that the worlds wall that separates it from other worlds has been broken down. After looking at the following picture, you can clearly say that Kairi is clearly waiting for Sora to return.

King Mikckey:

In Kingdom Hearts, King Mickey starts out as very mysterious as he suddently leaves his kingdom in search for the cause of the recent destruction of worlds. Along his voyage he stopped at many worlds including Ansem's. This can be found in Ansem Report 9, where it says:

Simply astonishing! Today I had a guest from another world. He is a king, and his vessel is built of the material that composed the meteors. He called the pieces "gummi blocks." It seemed that my opening the door has opened a path to interworld travel.

We talked for countless hours, but one story in particular caught my interest: that of a key called the "Keyblade." The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power. One legend says its wielder saved the world, while another says that he wrought chaos and ruin upon it. I must know what this Keyblade is. A key opens doors. It must be connected to the door I have opened.
After you watch the Tokyo Game Show trailer, you notice that Mickey does not really look like a "king" anymore, or lets say, he does not look the same as he left his world. He is dressed in a black robe which is very familar with the other unknowns.

Enigmatic Man:

This unknown is introduced in a scene that was only in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. You only encounter one unknown in Final Mix, and this is him. It is not sure which Unknown he is in Deep Dive, due to the fact you cannot see their faces and he wears the same raincoat as the rest. This unknown has a lot of nice weapons up it's sleeve as it turns out to be a difficult battle in Final Mix.
After the battle, the Unknown tells Sora, "he looks just like you." That is clearly a direct reference to the conversation the Glowing Eyed unknown and the Sitting Unknown had out oon the ebach in the Deep Dive trailer. The assumption that Sora looks like the glowing eyed unknown comes from this bit of information

Red Haired Girl:

Mmm... okay. We don't know anything about her. No name, weapon, and not even a face! She always has her back turned! Here is what AnsemReport.com thinks:
From the trailer, they know that she is from the below island, or some how affiliated to it. It's pretty sure that she is an important character in the game as well.
Many people are asking if this girl is Kairi, because of, well, her appearance. She seems younger and smaller than Kairi though, and also the way they stand is also different with Kairi putting her hands behind her back whenever still, this girl has her hands at her sides. But it has not been ruled out that this unknown red haired girl is Kairi.


Blonde Haired Kid:

According to GameInformer magazine, the Blonde Haired kid has been confirmed as protecting Sora in the scene where he is facing off with the red haired unknown. He carries 2 keyblades, the Oathkeeper and Oblivion. In the Kingdom Hearts 2 trailer showed at the TGS (Tokyo Game Show), the BHK is seen fighting a form of heartless. Also in the trailer, we see the BHK chasing a long white creature, that is not yet to be known.
The BHK is even more mysterious because we have not yet to see his face. Oh yes, there is one screen where someone freezed the video to see his face, but that is still not a clear shot of what Square-Enix would like to portray.
The blonde haired kid also weilds Sora's own Oathkeeper and Oblivion. It also a popular rumor that the BHK is the duel weilding unknown from the Deep Dive video. The reason? They both wield the Oblivion and Oathkeeper in the TGS trailer as well as the Deep Dive video. In Deep Dive, the duel wielding unknown asked "Where is Sora?", and in the TGS, the blonde haired kid says to the red haired unknown, "You can't see Sora."
Obviously, this character is new and hasn't been seen in Kingdom Hearts. According to Tetsuya Nomura, this kid's white clothes - in contrast to Sora's new darker duds - have some sort of significant meaning. Also, according to the TGS trailer, the BHK appears to be playable. Even though Sora is confirmed to be the main character, that still does not rule out that BHK will have a playable part, if not a large one.

Diz:

We don't know much about him now, but it is assumable that this guy is in fact the Kingdom Hearts 2 version of the evil Ansem. From various screenshots, it seems he is working with the Unknowns to persue a goal.

Axel:

This red haired unknown can be seen in the Kingdom Hearts 2 trailer. By the robe the red haired unknown is wearing, you can say he is one of the Unknowns, which were shown in Deep Dive, or associated with them.

This character was not seen in the original Kingdom Hearts but from what we gathered so far, we can conclude he has a bad temper and that he is looking for Sora. Whether, he is bad or good, is not known. It's now confirmed that the red haired unknown is "bad", as he is working with the red coated unknown who is bad. The red haired unknown also fights the blonde haired kid, who is trying to protect Sora.
The red haired unknown carries a circular blade as you can see from various screenshots. On a side note, the weapon is called Wind and Fire wheels, and you can buy them at a martial arts weapon store!
Even though this red haired unknown has the same outfit as the Unknowns, it still remains a question if he is one of them. Was he the one who tested Sora (The Enigmatic man in Final Mix) or a whole 'nother person?

Glowing Eye Unknown:

This glowing eye unknown is a very mysterious character. The GEU is first seen in the Deep Dive trailer, as he walked through a rock, like a ghost like creature. From seeing this, many believe the he is not a "mere shell", but the heart of a character. After seeing the bottem picture, many believe that the GEU could be a heartless himself, due to the fact he has the glowing eye and the heartless symbol that appears.
The glowing eyed unknown also has long boots that are pointed with his pants tucked in. The duel wielding unknown however, has a shoe buckle and a rounded front and his pants are not tucked in. This clears out the rumor that the dual wielding unknown and the glowing eyed unknown are the same.
Now, the big thing. It was said to the glowing eyed unknown, "He looks just like you." It is assumed that this is a reference to Sora, based on the Enigmatic scene in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. BUT, who knows, it may not be a reference to Sora. The person who said "He looks just like you", was another unknown who is just seen sitting on a mysterious beach.

Auron:

"Surely he's to blame ... Will you immediately form an agreement and go?" Some people have said it is the following translation: "Well sinner, let's discuss the contract, shall we?". Either way, they both show the same meaning.

From this, we figured that Hades is, or is trying to lure Auron into some sort of agreement and is trying to form an alliance with Auron against Sora (in a similar way how Hades worked with Cloud). Surely, the "he" is referring to Sora.

But after Hades tells Auron to align with him, Auron gets into an attack position (image below). But is this Auron confronting Hades, or Sora? It's unknown at the moment, but it's mostly leaning towards that Auron is a bad guy. Auron is in "the underworld", and it's safe to assume he died in Hollow Bastion when the heartless came. It seems that he died but did not lose his heart.

We now have figured out that Auron is against Sora and was getting into his attack position against Hades. We have the following to back this up:
Hades summons Auron with 2 fireballs but Auron refuses to help him and tries to cut Hades but (Hades > Auron), so Hades stops Auron`s sword with 1 hand, then Sora and Co. comes in and Hades is really surprised like "Omae!" "You!", so Auron used the oportunity and cuts Hades but Hades is able to teleport.

After that they argue who is going to fight against Hades so the 4 fight together but after 1 hit, Sora and co. lose, so everybody flees. In the path outside Hades castle a lot of heartless appear and a invisible wall (hexagonal style). Also a scrolling information screen appears saying what you need to do (FFX sensor ability style). So Hades is in "heat" mode and you can`t hit him so you have to kill all the heartless to continue on the path. In the end Sora finds a Keyhole and opens it and everybody goes inside but Hades sends Cerberus and Auron stops the fangs with his sword, Sora is going to flee but decides to help Auron, also Donald and Goofy but the hexagonal barrier appears again so is only Sora and Auron vs Cerberus.

Lexaeus:

A born warrior, Lexaeus effortlessly brandishes a gigantic tomahawk. To counterbalance his rival Marluxia's bid for Sora's power, Lexaeus tried to conquer Riku. He failed, but with his dying strength dragged Riku into the realm of darkness.

When battling Riku, Lexaeus taunted the element "Earth". Surprisingly enough, Lexaeus much like others had similar motives as to using Riku to get what they wanted.

Zexion:

Zexion has only been in Chain of Memories (from what we know as of now). Zexion generally avoids dirtying his own hands when there are deeds to be done. However, with the destruction of Vexen and Lexaeus, he was forced into action. Zexion confronted Riku disguised as Sora. But Riku no longer feared the dark, and victory was beyond Zexion's reach.

Later on, Zexion encountered Axel who then had control of the Riku replica. Axel ordered the Riku replica to kill Zexion, and that was the end of Zexion.

Vexen:

exen is actually not seen in any Kingdom Hearts 2 screenshots, but actually only in Chain of Memories screenshots. Could he possibly be a hooded unknown in any of the Kingdom Hearts 2 screenshots?

Vexen has been confirmed to be a male despite many of the feminine characteristics some may have pointed out such as a pronounced chest, etc., but Vexen is a male.

Now, for some actual storyline information. Not much is known about that except he does ignore Axel and wants to test Sora's power in Chain of Memories (as we saw in some Chain of Memories translations). So you can expect to fight Vexen in Chain of Memories.

White Creatures:

In the TGS trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2, we see two new kind of heartless, or are they heartless? As for the moment, they are just known to us as "white creatures", but publications such as GameInformer have gave them names such as "nobodies". Below is all we can give to you about them at the moment.
Above is the 2nd white creature in the TGS trailer. A Japanese magazine called it a "Flailer" as it compares to a Neo Shadow & a Soldier heartless. The reason these white creates are not considered heartless is because the flailer ran away from the blonde haired kid in Twilight Town and disappeared after morphing through a wall.

Tetsuya Nomura stated these new heartless as "the third enemy behind the heartless and Disney villians", so you can expect to see a lot of them I'm expecting in Kingdom Hearts 2. Now I mentioned earlier that these white creates could be "nobodies", as various publications refered to them as that.

If you recall, in Deep Dive, it said "The third force = Nobody. Who are the nobodies? They are the non-existant ones". So these white creatures are the nobodies/non-existant ones (NEOs)?

Here is another popular piece of evidence referring back to Ansem Report 13.

When the heart casts off the flesh, where does the body go?
Heart and soul are separate, and the spirit remains in the body. But can we assume that the leftover body and soul perish?
Certainly when the heart changes into a Heartless the body disappears.
However, that is only this world's story; in another world, mightn't they change forms like the Heartless and exist there?
If we take that to be the case, there must be a you other than yourself existing somewhere.
An existence neither of darkness nor of light.
An in-between existence.
Cast off by the heart, a mere shell, one who begrudges both the darkness and the light.
This mystery cannot be easily resolved.
The relationship between the heart and the flesh is a complex one.
But since we exist here, they cannot be termed as existent.
Therefore I shall call them...
"The non-existent ones."

People are made up of a body, heart and soul. If they lost their heart, they becomes a heartless, and the soul & body stay together and make a nobody/NEO. This could possibly bash the "soulless" theory people have been saying.

Officially a 2005 release for PlayStation 2, Kingdom Hearts II continues the role-playing adventure. In this sequel, the Heartless are not wholly defeated, and new villains from the Disney universe

man that was so long i only have ennuf time to watch the trailor before i have to go to bed :P but it was well worth it. I have been wondering about this for a while now, and was REALLY thinking about it a lot today. MAN i cant wait!!! *saves the trailer*

Hehe, i always loved disney characters and games.
When Kingdom Hearts camed out i loved it and now im waiting to be loving Kingdom Hearts 2 :wub2:

whoa its a really great game.. on 1 i did everything, all those weird marks, lvl 99, defeated sephiroth, kurt siza, phantom and etc.. whoa old school in some way ^^

mulan,i think they goto mickey's castle,back to that one hercules place and back to beaty and the beast place.. (some mroe levels but forgot). the yellow haired kid is ...lol too lazy to check magazine. (subscribed lol)
