Pirates of the Caribbean MMORPG

This morning, Disney Online, part of the Walt Disney Internet Group, said it is developing a new massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Pirates of the Caribbean Online.

Disney Online describes Pirates of the Caribbean Online as "a world of high seas action and adventure where players will personalize their own pirate character and organize with other players to form a pirate crew." Unlike most other pirate games, Disney's MMORPG will incorporate the supernatural elements of the films, allowing players to "embark on swashbuckling missions to battle both each other and the evil, undead pirates of the high seas.

saw it on ts too, pirates kick ass i might play but cant decide till i see more details

show me some graphic if it nice i will try it out

yeah, i have to see it first, before i can decide if i'll play it or not, because there're a LOT of ways they can screw it up and make it SUCK so i can't say whether i'd play it or not, but it does sound interesting

Usually games based on movies suck. Not only that, MMORPGs based on movies are unheard of (Matrix Online - which sux anyways). Matrix online started a whole wave of bullshit games coming into the mmorpg market.

Its going to be p2p, Disney will do anything for money..

u can aswell try out the idiotic puzzlepirates....looks a load of crap always playing certain puzzle games....booring

pretty much like Elessar siad.. this game has the potential to suck some serious balls.. however if done well.. might not be bad.

Was a good movie(even though the actor was no good [Johnny Depp]), sequel coming out soon. Not exactly sure when, would have to check regalcinemas for that. Might think of playing the game, but would the purpose of it be? Killing Pirates non-stop?
