the game is alright.i played it since beta.preordered it long ago...www.guildwars.com is the webpage..i dont even consider this game as mmorpg...its fun at first but after awhile..u learn to counter all skills. and it gets easier...maybe cuz i played it for too long..but ya..its a good game..get it if u can..expansions will be coming out rapidly.

what you're saying is true, after going to the arena hundreds of times i found out its geting easier and easier to kill others, countering spells, using your abilitys better, i guess the improvement you as a player have is too fast, and dominate through new players with the same skills and abilitysQuote:

Arfg... I played the betas and it was incredibly fun. But there were times when i felt rather bored and since I just spent like 60% of the money in my wallet (And i don't have an income) I'm trying to save. I'll probably wait for Rakion and see if I get addicted enough to that, besides... by then there might be some bad reviews that I can see if I related to during beta so I can save $50.
ok, i guess it's official then, i have to beg my parents to get it for me, using my grades and such as reasons, and i dont ask for stuff often *hopes it will work* but i have to start out subtle >_<

GW is 50 bux, but if you look at all the "Semi-New" mmorpgs out there like Lin2(50 bux box and 15bux per month) or FFIX, you pay alot more, and they give you alot less than GW.
Not only can't u compete with other players in Harmless PvP combat, but you don't even get your own areas to lvl in, you have to compete with thousands of others for monsters and drops n such, this makes those MMORPGs suck.
GW is the best way to go :).
P.S. How the hell do you get out of the newb area? I keep hearing about All these other areas, but i cant get there Q.Q;.

Edit: Btw... At a comp usa newspaper I saw them selling GW for 50$ and giving a 10$ giftcard with it. Maybe I can do this and just trade off the giftcard to my parents for 10$.

lmao, its capped at level 20, but they said everytime a new expansion comes out, its +10 lvls, so imagine, its not even the beginning, and about skills, actually the 8 bar thing isnt bad, you choose the skills when you go lvlin, but then you relise that every skill is useable, but 8 is max,which is good, and which does not say you can have 8 and rest are crap.
