Galaxies

for the last 2-3 months i have been playing a game called Star Wars Galaxies. it pissed me off having to buy the game to try it, but i played it for quite a while, and enjoyed the game, got really good.

now they have remade the combat system, my server is down, and i find out my character will suck ass.

Jedi's finding it hard to fight now, and apparently its more based on group killing rather than the damage you do to a mob.

may work, but im undecided.

two things i would like to know though, has/does anyone else on here play it? AND what other good games are there, with the exception of WoW which after watching my housemate play for 5 mins looks crap. :((. may give it a go later though.


any ideas?

welll...iv played the game.....was fun but like others say it does have a lot of tweaks here and there... anyways have u tryed games like RYL, Lineage2(mabey u have already), face of mankind, project entropia, anarchy online.....hmm wht else.....dunno...if u want i can post other games like this later on (the most SWG looks anarchy online and u can play that totally free for 1 year if u sign up....but the 3 exp packs are p2p so u have to pay 14$ monthly...but if u buy for a whole year in advance u get 7,4$a month and so on.....so its ur decicion)

i treid swg for a few days awhile back and hated every bit of it. lineage2 is a great game and is worth it and guild wars is said to be great also.

actually wyuz Anarchy Online is totally free, the one year thing is only the begging. They did that at Christmas as marketing. Its completly free, but only the first game none of the expansion content. What about Dark Age Of Camelot? Not the same time peroid but with the Catacombs xpack is pretty good. Why dont you just get GuildWars, $40 and no monthly fees
