A few helpful ideas
OK so I see alot useless Help Topics that 99% if the time are reposts and/or questions that have already been covered way more times then needed. So im just gonna cover a few ideas I have played on that helped me along the way and pretty much eliminated all need for annoying 'Help Me' spams from lazy people.
First And Foremost...EVERYTIME YOU EDIT SOMETHING SERVER OR CLIENT SIDED CREATE A BACK UP FIRST....duh
Ok, so for those of you like me who own your server computers and have a personal computer as well that they use for whatever, create a Dummy or Test Server on your personal computer setup exactly like your real server, except set it up to connect locally only (LAN IP). This will give you the ability to play around with all your server files and test them without having to worry about things like disturbing the gameplay of your actuall server population as well as cutting update downtime by about 75% as your updates will be ready and tested when it comes time to apply them. (Usually just a simple 'service cabal restart' is required which takes about 1 minute tops).
Dont be afraid to play around with just about every number in the actual server data files, after all you created back ups right? (for Chumpy repacks these files are found in 'etc/cabal/data')
Do not forget that if you edit something that is both server and client required (Ex: NPC Shop items and stuff) you will most likely need to package the same data into the proper place in the client files or it will not work. <---This will solve about 90% of the problems I read about
And the rest is pretty much trial and error...
I hope that maybe this saves you guys some time and work. It all seems to have helped me quite a bit

Most of these will not be needed if you follow chumpy`s noob friendly guide
