Having trouble setting up mangos correctly. I tried your link for your troubleshooting forums, but it is in spanish, the links are not translating correctly in google translate, and I am unable to read any of the hyperlinks on your main page. No clue why only generic non-hyperlink text is translating, but anywho, too frustrating and asking is simpler.

Mysql is already installed and working correctly. I updated the pswrd to "mangos" so forumd and mangos .exe's provided in your package have the correct pswrds. You used "." for the datadir in the mangosd .conf, so I dumped the maps, vmaps, and DSB folders in your download links in the same folder.

I honestly have no idea how any of this works and am more or less attempting to follow directions on Reaper-X's site.

the Realmd app is running, mysql is running. Mangosd app is auto-closing with this error:
SQL: SELECT required_9331_01_mangos_quest_template FROM db_version LIMIT 1
query ERROR: Table 'mangos.db_version' doesn't exist
SQL: SELECT * FROM db_version LIMIT 1
query ERROR: Table 'mangos.db_version' doesn't exist
Table `db_version` fields list query fail but expected have `required_9331_01_mangos_quest_template`! No records in `db_version`?

You didn't have the YTDB Revision 533[3.3.0a] uploaded at the time I tried all this, and looking it up YTDB's appear to be the data files for mangos, so.... is this what I'm missing? And how does it go in the file directory?

charge the sql in mangos folder

"charge" the SQL? You mean the step to import the database? In the directions from Reaper-X (Only found directions for the BC expansion btw)there is a step where you import the database with the run command. Is this what you're referring to? (Pasted Below)

Importing the SDB Files :
Okay we have finished extracting the maps and dbc files required for mangos, now we need to import
the database first before you can run mangos program
and here’s the summary on how it done :
If you’re going to create WoW Classic Server
1.Extract the SQL files from my mangos sql dump into C:\WoW\SDB (if you follow my directory
structure)
2. Open Command Prompt
3. Run the sql query from the command prompt (look image below for an example on how to use
the query)
(FYI - I left the images out of this post)
Here’s the summary on how it’s done :
Extract the SDB Full Dump for Mangos Revision 3900 1. into C:\WoW\SDB
2. Extract the Mangos Program / Archive into C:\WoW\Daemon\Mangos
3. Go into C:\WoW\Daemon\Mangos\SQL
4. Copy the create_mysql.sql and realmd.sql into C:\WoW\SDB
5. Open the Command Prompt
6. Execute the same query as above but adjust the filename first
An example on how to execute the query is like below (you must do this in order) and using the same
path as the above image
1. mysql -u root -p -v < create_mysql.sql
2. mysql -u root -p -v -D realmd < realmd.sql
3. mysql -u root -p -v -D mangos < the_filename_used_on_sql_dump_from_e_turray.sql

If this is what you're talking about, the create_mysql.sql and realmd.sql are already in your folder and as far as the last run command, what filename is used? Answer may be obvious, but like I said I really have no clue what I'm doing and just following the step-by-step directions.

I was using Ambers GUI to run the new mangos core and that gave me those error messages. So when I stopped using the GUI, it ran fine, and had no lag. :):
I am also looking for a good GUI that works, anybody know one besides ProphetX's Control Panel?

Hey Zack i was wondering how is YTDB comapired to UDB or Project Silvermoon. i normaly use UDB but they are so slow on the updates and PSM has fools mixing stuff up but are constantly updating. i have never tried YTDB.. Thanks

Hey Zack do you have the SQL version of YTDB/UDB where its exported with complete inserts rather than extended inserts? Apparently my mysql returns errors when I'm trying to import the big block of insert for the characters table. Keeps returning error 1064(42000) and error 1136 randomly. If you've got a solution to this it would be great! Thanks.
